Richmond was the fourth club not us.
Mummy was a straight swap.
Just leaves us to off load pick 39 or 46 to the Hawks for Kennedy.
Been a whirlwind couple of days, but if you look at it this way:
We were going to lose our no.1 ruckman in Jolly but ended up with two replacements in Seaby and Mumford, retained our 6th pick and went from 22 to 14 with our second.
We probably could have held on for a little while longer in all the deals to retain our original second rounder (or close to it) but in the end we probably would have not ended up with what we have got in.
Those wanting pick 9 from Whorethorn, it was never really in play as they had committed to Burgoyne no mater what. Outside of them there was no more takers for Jolly.

If we can get JK for pick 39 and 46, and seeing as he's still an unknown that's all he's worth, I'll be thrilled with pick 6, 14 and 38 in the draft.Comment

Wow, will Carlton take pick 46 from us at 1.45pm tomorrow.
From what I am hearing, he and Judd are non reconciable so if he does not get traded it's possibly the end of him as Carlton will not take him back.
That's one expensive table at the Brownlow, all $1.4 million of it.

39 46 and 70. And considering we weren't going to use 70 it's a great trade
only question is what are we goingto throw back to the dogs
for hall?Comment

Solid gold. Not a bad week's work, to be honest. I'll take that.
When you add them all up, I think we did ok. Not great, but not bad either.
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

I've gone from being pissed at the Jolly trade to being pretty happy with the weeks results...And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Looking at it now I reckon we've done really well.
We've lost Jolly & Buchanon, both well into their use by life and the sacked Hall. Don't forget the latter two played minor roles in 2009.
We've gained Seaby who's useful and Mumford who is young, pretty good on what he did this year with alot of upside. So two rucks for one.
Pick wise we've still got three of our original four picks 6, 38 & 54. We've upgraded 22 (starting to get into an iffy part of this draft) to 14 which is a still strong part of the draft. We've added picks 39 & 46 ....... if I've got my sums right this time!
Well done Swans traders, just don't get bent over by the dorks tomorrow! Edit - just got the news, very very nice now - woo hoo and still got room for the FEv!Comment

Wow, been working hard today.
I think the deal with the dogs would have been to swap our last pick so it's probably going to be 38 with their third round.
But was that not the pick we got for Hall?
I am now just plain confused.
McGlynn will be a handy replacement for Buchanan.
