Duck butt's worked to hard to win back the adoration of the fans, club and his team mates.

Duck butt will be named captain after Kirky retires next year.

Can anyone recall a current club champion being traded?

      It's all just silly talk.

O?Keefe admitted that he had been wary of the reception waiting for him from the Bloods faithful after his attempt to change clubs.

?I was a little bit hesitant, not so much with the players or internally at the club, but with fans and members,? he said.

?I wasn?t quite sure what sort of response I?d get from them. I suppose after a while they warmed to me again, though.?

His repatriation was helped by his outstanding form during a trying season in which the Swans missed the finals for the first time in seven years.
      Winner thanks the fans

Couldn't possibly be ROK PLUS a DRAFT PICK for Fev....they are both 28 year old All Australian.

Trading ROK would defeat the purpose of getting a short term player anyway...the whole idea would be to give us some sort of a chance at a flag in 2012...you don't do that by giving up one of your top 3 players!!! (Even if it is a fair trade).

What about Hall to Dogs for 31...Fev to Sydney for 22 and 31??

Does Sydney have a moral obligation to get Barry to the Dogs? Seems to me that we do, and a 2nd rounder seems out of order given how this situation has come about.

They'd tear the stands down at the Western Oval. Plus it would delay his start to training with them until after Christmas

They are holding out to pay for a 3rd rounder and hopefully we won't blink!

We really need another club to declare an interest to put this Fantasia bloke back in his box.

                            Hawks??
They would have an earlier shot in the PSD wouldn't they?
They would also have an earlier 3rd rounder wouldn't they?

Hope we continue to play hard ball. A pick in round 4 or Hall going to the PSD really makes no difference to us.
Let's hope we hear something from the Hawks soon.

This Fantasia guy sounds like he is on the drug Fantasy.

Surely he realises that we all realise there is no currency in a fourth round pick whatsoever? He is really asking the Swans to GIVE barry hall to the Dogs.

What we also all know is that BBBH is possibly the difference between the Bullldogs finishing 4th and not making the GF and going all the way. This Fantasy guy has a @@@@ hand and he knows it but still playing his hand poorly.

The spirit of the agreement to help him move to his club of choice had to be underpined by some sort of compensation. I think a third round would be fair. Proposing for a 4th round and then sooking because he says we claimed we'd d help BBBH to his preferred club is absurd.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.
