    Mumford -out
    Barlow-out
    Moore-out
    Richards-out
    Currie/Vesz -in
    Hannabery-in
    McGlynn-in
    LRT-in

The only question is who will ruck with Pyke-? White or Currie. If they go with White, Vesz can play FP. They could also go Lewis Johnston but I think not at this time. Real outsider could be TDL or Richards stays in.

I think Teddy is also carrying an (ankle?) injury from the BLions match & this might explain part of his lacklustre performance against the Cats. If so, he might also be in doubt for this week too.

From all the reports today it looks like they will go with Pyke/White in the ruck so I'm guessing they bring in LRT, Hanners and McGlynn for Mumford, Moore and Barlow and then perhaps Veszpremi for someone like Richards if he is injured.

bigswan has the right idea. Anyone that thinks he is dropping smith and the one person that suggested dropping Mattner all need to get off the pot. Moore gets omitted because of injury, Barlow and Ted should be omitted because of form. Mumford because of his suspension. I was at the game on the weekend and melbournes backline was quite speedy compared to the dogs forward line so we need speed. Mcglynn, Hanneberry and LRT are in. And from what I have read through the week, it seems as though Jesse is gonna back up Pyke, so we need to bring in a forward and I think now is probably a good time to bring in Patty for his first game of the year. Although I would love to see Johnstone get a game.

Gee things really aren't looking good for Currie. If he can't get a game when our first two ruckmen aren't playing then I can't see how he ever will.

Currie tends to be played as a KP forward, not so much ruck although he does back up work there, and he is a real confidence player. Tends to get put off his game at this stage. He may get a gig, but I would be surprised. He will do well, and physically he is ready, but from what I have observed as a knowall and all round brilliant student of the ressies, his killer instinct is not yet fully developed. But he has great hands and can kick.

Was wondering if Sam Reid might get a call up, and I wouldn't have a total problem with that, but I doubt it very much at this stage.

LJ is imo mentally ready but I think he has about six months hard labour to do physcially. He missed a complete year, so is a bit behind. But I am rubbing my hands in anticipation.

If Braddy is out i like White at full forward and Currie as 2nd Ruck. They can switch if it doesn't work.

I wonder if the forward line ends up including Playfair, Barlow and Bevan whether RWO will cease to exist.

I can't stop giggling. Pykey, Hank, Cheese and Teddy all in the side.

Maybe in the end it will be proven to be genius rotation of players so that our guns remain fresh!!

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....
