If this is the case, then the selection commitee are a joke.

Why would you persist with a 27yr old hack in Playfair who has been in the system now for over 8 years and has simply not improved against a 21yr old KPP with upside.

Big footy suggests both White and Ted have been dropped for Bradshaw and Campbell Heath.

I guess Campbell played a blinder in that reserves fixture that didn't exist last week?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Wow, dropping White and keeping Playfair. That is just ludicrous whichever way you look at it.

I'd wait until we see what the actual selcetions are tomorrow before we start calling for the selection committees collective heads.

From what i can gather this is just heresay. If it proves tomorrow to be true however.................... OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!!!

Unless White has done something dumb this would seem an odd decision to me also.

                Playfair 7 kicks 3 hballs 6 marks 5 cont poss 5 uncont poss 4 tackles supercoach 69pts
                White 1 kick 6hballs 0 marks 3 cont poss 4 uncont poss 1 tackle supercoach 29pts

White did have 12 hitouts but its the same every week. He has almost no influence on the game. I would really like to see him play well but its just not happening.

It's not really the same every week because White was played out of position last week (in the ruck).

That said, I can believe that Roos and the coaches might have some issues with White's workrate. He was super during the first half against Geelong but then went missing. In other games he has played in patches too. His second efforts and overall tackling impact have sometimes been poor also. If the coaches think that a couple of weeks back in the twos to work on some specific parts of his game without having to worry about getting in Goodes or Bradshaw's way is going to help him become a better player in the short to medium term, I don't have a problem with that.

All well and good but Playfair had no score board impact. I cant rememebr him getting a touch inside 50 at all , and i thought that was the role he was coming in to play. Lead, create a contest, maybe kick a goal ?

Not get junk touches on the wing. There are far better players that could be doing that.

White had a stinker but just having him in the forward line with Bradshaw fit creates headaches for opposition defences. With him out they can focus more energy solely on Bradshaw .

Over the years on here there has been talk about doing the job they have been set for. Maybe he hasn't done this the last couple of games.

It was pretty clear that was the exact opposite of his role last week.

It was his job to play up the ground so that Goodes could play deeper and hopefully put scoreboard pressure on the Dogs in the absence of Bradshaw.

In terms of roles, he was better than a number of others that played last week.

If Bradshaw comes back in, you will probably see him play closer to goal with Bradshaw and have Goodes go into the middle where he is needed badly at present.

I almost want to see White dropped to see the storm that will unleash.

                            Good times.
