ROK to take one for the team and rule himself out. It doesn't sound like his injury is going to get better with rest, so this would be end of season. A little extra "do it for ROK" to add to the Roos and Kirk factor and counter Johnno.

    Bradshaw in

If McGlynn is not going to be any more ready next week than this then he's in this week too and Jetta gets a rest.

Bradshaw is the X-factor this week, Jetta to return fresh for the PF if we get through in place of Moore.

Then "no change" for the GF.
I've been packing pickets too. Normally Bevo would be first to go, but given what he's done lately it'd be bad for The Culture to drop the li'l battler, and ROK's crook, fact fans, fact. Jets is my pick for X Factor.
I was wrong about Gerard and his hair.

Do you think they should recall Rohan?

Why don't we just ask Larissa to go into Roosy's office and ask him what he is going to decide, and then post it back here? Would save a lot of angst.

I'd actually drop Pyke for Bradshaw. White can give Mummy a rest once in a while.

No, we actually want to win the game.

I know we all admire his courage but given his history of head knocks, concussions and the like - I am concerned that these events might haunt him post footy.

Wade Chapman for one comes to mind when you think of a player dogged by this kind of thing.

Exactly. I don't think anyone suggesting dropping Pyke has been watching the same games as I have for the last month.

Regardless of Pyke's merits, Jesse is a mediocre ruckman and doesn't have the impact around the ground that you might think he could have playing in the ruck. If we need to fit Bradshaw in and there isn't room for him and White in the forward line, it makes far more sense to just drop White. Not that I'm advocating that - some of White's work against the Blues was exquisite. He played a big part in many of our goals, despite not kicking many himself.

Having watched most of the replay today (can't quite bring myself to watch the 3rd term), it is nigh on impossible to pick even one player to drop, let alone two. The skill, commitment and ferocity at the contest from every single player was tremendous in that final quarter.

Go on, watch the 3rd quarter. You'll find reasons to drop Jesse White there.
Seriously, how good are the South Melbourne Market dimmies?

I was ordered to by my footy mate, and he was right. It is brilliant, you should see how many moments were saved by the boys, and at times just how fast and furious it was. I surprised myself and enjoyed it very much, because even then you could see noone was dropping their heads, it was always game on. We just didn't see as much of the game in context as it was put to air. Recommended.

I'm with you there too Primms - I watched it last night as it was foxtels "Match of the Round" YAY!!! so I watched it and loved it - sure the third qtr are ordinary but the 4th was wonderful - the commentators still annoyed the piles out of me with their continual banging on about Judd - as if he was the only Carlton plyer who was busting a gut out there (that would have to give some of their blokes the @@@@s wouldn't it?) but our boys stood up when it matterd - we all just have to hope like hell that they can keep doing that for the next three games!!!
