Thanks for all the info RTTF. With a much quieter trade period expected and no high draft picks, this thread won't get anywhere near the mega monster size that last years trade/draft thread did!

We didn't choose to put two veterans outside the list this year so we could have had to more on the senior list, nor did we take our full compliment of rookies potentially missing out on players who have made the grade at other clubs this year. I think we had the smallest list of any club this year.

Both of these decisions were due to tight finances so it will be interesting to see if we use both of those avenues this draft season to unearth more players.

Any takers for the new Sandover Medallist 27yo Andrew Krakouer? Sydney might be just the place and club to bring out his best.

                  Nice work RTTF.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I easily have at least as bad a feeling considering this as I did when Fevola rumours started last year. I'd pass.

I suspect Thornton is a victim of injuries, ala Laidlaw, because the lad could play even if he was unlikely to ever be a superstar. The emergence of Nick Smith as that mid-sized defender cum tagger won't have helped him either, because I suspect that was the role Thornton was earmarked to settle into.

Do we need to cut anyone else? Any chance of one of them being redrafted by us? Not that I think any of them are really worth getting back (but good luck to all 3 of them for the future)...
