GC is getting stronger and stronger at the National Draft for basically doing nothing. Bet the clubs didn't see this scenario when they signed off on the GC draft concessions 12 months ago. GWS will do the same thing next year.

Wait until later this afternoon when the AFL publishes the updated daft order and see what kind of monster the GC could become!

They have been talking about that on Trade Week Radio. All Clubs will get bit on the backside from about 4 years on.

They don't think it will have the same impact for GWS but would still benefit. We will lose our first round pick next year when we give that up for Mitchell.

Surely better to look at it as using our first pick to draft Mitchell, rather than losing it. Sounds like he will be well worth it, for a pick that could be anything from mid teens to mid/late 20s.
