Go the Rooster! (Still like him up forward though )

Can't wait for '11 and beyond!
They played him down back for the three quarters (?)today, and ,boy, he looked solid.
I've always been a fan, but with a bit of added weight and broadness across the shoulders (and I feel he has whacked on another inch or a bit more as well), he's starting to look like the whole package.
His clean pickups at speed mentioned by a couple of people here, were great to watch..Yeah, I'm well on board.

I had a browse through my tweets and I linked number 29 to Jackson Potter although I have no recollection of it. Here are the Goalkickers from what I saw, I could have missed a couple.

      White 12 goals
Dennis-Lane 7, Bevan, Shaw, Lamb, Kennedy, McVeigh

      Red 4 goals
Lamb, Kane Murphy (#22), Jackson Potter (#29), Parker

On Rohan I would temper your expectations a little. He mostly played on Kane Murphy who competed well but is about 6 inches shorter. I thinkthere will be some short term pain as Gaz improves his defensive skills but there could be long term gain

I agree ugg on Rohan...his speed was the standout today, in front of his man , regardless of height. He positions himself well, but still plenty ripening of the grapes.

Thank you everyone - for us Southerners the next best thing to watching. Some very encouraging reports there.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Thx Primmy. Sounds like a good day all around.

Also had some brilliant quick pick-ups and dish-offs. Didn't see much of his speed with ball in hand, but that was OK. Looked very good, could/should play all season.
Yay!!! I think he's going to have/really, really want him to have, a blinder of a season. Eligible for Rising Star?

I'm so gee'd up for this season.

Really like the sound of Luke Parker.
Chuffed to have so many promising youngsters coming through at the moment.
Our recruiters really have had a couple of EXCELLENT years.

11 Kicks, 13 Handballs, 8 Marks, 1 Goal, 1 Behind, 1 Tackle, 1 Hitout, 3 Brownlow votes (his only votes)

Certainly is! I just had a sticky beak on Centrebet and they currently have him as third favourite.

I've got quite a few photo's from today as well. I haven't had a chance to upload them to my computer but will do later tonight and put on flickr as well. I just joined up to flickr so it doesn't look too hard to upload.

How was it with so many RWO making up most of the crowd today that we didn't all meet up. I think we have some social phobics here. Well it was that or snobs!!!!

My hilite of today was Primmy when she realised Matty and Nipper had to exchange sweaty tops during that last part of the game. They probably didn't have any choice with the Coach standing metres from them.

We also did a great shuttle (or was that shuffle) run between the fence and the shade of the bus shelters during breaks of play. The boys all went under the trees across the other side of the ground.

Great news was that there was no injuries today.

You could just tell the difference between us.

I had the painful expression on my face from twirling the indian clubs. I'm hooked on them now. Mind you, the ego thought I could lift alot more than I physically could. Damn, have to start somewhere. Not to forget that the RC is a real English gentleman and a credit to both the Swans and RWO.

Thanks ugg, Kane Murphy was 22......looks like a Kane Murphy. He is my new best boy in the toppies.

Jeffers your photos are fantastic, just like the game so to speak. Outrageously good shot of Ted and of Gary

My Bad, I forgot to mention Doggy. He has trimmed down and sped up and looks darned good.

I still think the jumper change was ick Bas, and thank heavens for the bus shelters; did you get sunburned?
