Let's finally face it...we have no real forward line in the traditional sense. They ignore TDL week after week...Bradshaw was a long shot gamble to start with...it is beginning to show!!!! Sure, the old fashioned glamour FF may not be deemed necessary these days,,,..but that is an illusion...we DO NOT HAVE a functioning settled forward line...we are a disorganized rabble when put up against the top 4 or 5 sides....We are not the only ones...the top teams are as separated from the the rest as it has ever been in the old days of riches versus battlers....the more members, the more...oh, who cares...the final siren and Goodes pulls his socks up...pity that didnt happen for the entire side an hour a bloody go!!!!....

Not just the midfield. Well beaten everywhere. But our ability to hurt other teams on the scoreboard is a really big problem at the moment. Unless we convert our moments of supremacy better than what we have been we are going to face these games where we simply cannot hold up for long enough. I am really really disappointed. I genuinely thought we would win today and thought that our performance against port was just because they brought us down to their level. I really am not so sure now.Comment

The gap between the top 3 or 4 sides and the rest is SO clear now.....it will not change in the near future. It is all a covert effort by the AFL to balance it all out after ten years of interstate domination.
GWS...what a farce,,,,,all this is only gonna get worse. Doubt i will live long enough to bother with another GF let alone a Premiership...it is so very obvious what is going on hereComment

You might be speaking too soon about the Giants being a farce.
Apparently Folau had a bit of a day out at Blacktown yesterday playing full forward...his first time in the position and he kicked 4 or 5 goals...the Giants might end up with the sort of KPP we so desperately need.Comment

Same crap as they dished up last week, this time we were playing a decent team. Smashed in clearances, contested possies, tactics, match-ups, intensity, skills and if they'd kicked straight the scoreboard.
Good side Hawks with a couple of superstars in Franklin & Rioli (Oh to think he could have been ours...) but that performance was rubbish.
Now we know that we can't win the flag can we at least find out if we've got a decent key position forward and play bloody Johnston. Let's not bull@@@@ anymore and fluff around to fall into the eight - let's get dinkum about the rebuild for those positions where we really need to improve to make a difference.Comment

Looks like we not only bet port last week it turned out we played like port, just disgusting easily worst game. Don't get me wrong Hawthorne are a quality outfit but we fed them this game on a platter, only good thing to come out of this match was the eski playing alright but on the flip side he seemed like he and hanneberry were the only swans on the ground that wanted to play.Comment
-
Yeah..but what I mean is....it is a premature farce in the sense that Sydney can barely handle the Swans without having the advent of a new side...please read my other comments to understand what I mean.....The Swans have battled for an identity and a crowd other than all the eastern suburbs "cooies" and "transplants" (Like Me)

Beaten in the centre means well beaten on the scoreboard at the SCG.
Hawks too good today.
Next week still seems a long way away... but we are still there abouts if we beat North well.
Regroup and get confidence back.Comment

Well, that sucked. Quite concerned at seeing these old SCG-woods falling away in quick succession.
Can we please have a couple of known goal kickers that can take a f%^&ing mark in the Seniors now? It's gotta be time to bring TDL back and to finally give Lewis Johnston a go.To all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!Comment
