RIP Jesse Whites Career Part II

Yep, as much as I hate to say it, Jesse just hasn't developed as expected.
Haven't seen Spangher but reports from ressie watchers suggest he may be the key forward we need, can't do any worse than what we've been trying.
TDL must come in. Clever small forwards ae like gold for a team that currently can't convert.
For goodness sake selectors, bite the bullet and try something new coz what you've been trying isn't working!
MGlynn and Bevo should stay and play Goodes more midfield/high forward.Comment

Trade bait.
Not sure if he's worth much now though. The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.Comment

I thought Jesse really just played primarily as a backup ruckman last night, Al- and I thought he was fine in the role against bigger opponents. Longmire has acknowledged they'd like to run him as a permanent forward, but I think they've done that once all year (and it was the game he ended up being subbed off in)- if the coach sees him as a permanent forward you'd assume they wouldn't give up on him as a seniors player until he got a chance to have a run as a permanent forward?
I'm just so frustrated with his lack of footy smarts. I'm always hopeful that one day he might play the footy we need from him. Sadly I don't see it happening...And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Who down a swans land is guiding Jesse White as FF?? Who is teaching him to read the play better, get into position better???? Sadly the loss off Lyon, Roos, & Longmire going to head coach, we are very short in wealth of talented assistant coaches, and there lies part of the problem.......Comment

Didn't think he was that bad on the weekend. He's a poor ruckman but I thought he competed OK. I'd persevere with him for the time being.Bloods

White, Bevan, Everittt - all very dumb footballers. No wonder we can't kick goals. These blokes have no idea how to read the play or position themselves in the contest. On the rare occasions they do get it, they butcher it.
Drop those three for TDL, Spangher and KJ.Comment

Do free kicks against not count as clangers? He had 75% DE- 2 FA, we know 1 rather shameful dragging of the boot with an uncontested possie that I appreciate you were amused by, however I'd contend it was a bit of an oddity and one thing you'd have to admit is that Jesse is a pretty decent kick for a guy his size. So that leaves what, 1 clanger out of the other 7- 5 of which were contested? Please expand on what that says about his disposal.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

I dunno, it just seems a tad reactionary to me. This was his second game back in, the coach acknowledged he should run as a forward in the seniors but obviously the Mummy suspension forced their hand to run him as a backup ruckman. I think he's rucked well in both games, TOG against Adelaide was 54% in the end- that's not a lot of time, and I'd wager that both the weather and the size of his opponents weighed heavily in it. I don't recall Seaby playing as a forward at all, his TOG% was 73% so we can probably say Jesse rucked 27% of the game and played as a forward 27% of the game. I'd argue that neither of those playing times provides a great opportunity to get into the game in either position and the coaching staff's notes for his game probably read something along the lines of "did the job he was asked to do".I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
