Wouldn't say he can't play, but with pressure from the ressies and with a full list to chose from he may find it difficult to hold onto a senior position.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Such insightful and informed commentary is really awe inspiring.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Come on RWOsters, Bird is as good as anybody to hate on now that the Irishman has announced his retirement! Hang on, check that, Jesse was back to sucking and playing like a dumb pussy today after a very good run last week. Oh, and Jetta did about 10 minutes of nothing today. Bird gets a reprieve

Bird was okay from where I sat in my armchair today.

His past month and a bit hasn't been too flash. Needs to recapture some of that mid season form.

no doubt bird is a bit underdone, or carrying something, but his style of play is more suited to finals footy than a few other fringe players, so I'd be suprised if he was dropped.

The name of the original poster is altogether appropriate.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Craig was blowing really, really hard whenever he came off- he used to do that when he first came into the side and hasn't done that in a while. He really didn't look fit tonight.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

                              Last 3 games
                              v Saints: 5 kicks, 5 hballs, 1 mk, 5 tkls, 0 gls, 2 bhds (5th worst in team)
v Cats: 4 kicks, 2 hballs, 1 mk, 1 tkl, 0 gls, 0 bhds (tie worst in team)
                              v Lions: 4 kicks, 7 hballs, 3 mks, 2 tkls, 0 gls, 0 bhds (3rd worst in team)
*With the pressure from 2s and players coming back from inj etc, its fair to say we need a bit more from Birdy. IMO
