Me thinks that everyone in the team being firsts or reserves are superstars until the finals finish being it next week or grandfinal day. Lets try and be positive for a while please.

He has been down on numbers recently- maybe he is carrying a knock?"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Its a tough one - Jetta gives pace when he can be bothered. I had used up my 5 games on my Sydney membership today so used my Melbourne Membership to get it, which meant I was down the opposite end of the ground to normal. As the 1st tier is rubbish imo at that end, I sat up the top of the Trumper stand for the 2nd half - most of the way back so I could watch our workrate and running off the ball. I know Jetta didn't get much time on but he did absolutely nothing of note, and at least 3 times when he should of been sprinting away to make a lead and get space, he literally just stood there. Very disappointing, and at the moment I wouldn't pick him."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Forget to log out, did you?
Anyway, Bird's form has been a little down on the middle of the season, but he's playing a defensive role, and doing it well. He's our number 1 tagger, and he's barely able to train during the week because of his foot, yet he's still out there every week performing his role.
Terrible, terrible thread.Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!Comment

It's a fair effort though.
Registered 2 names 4 years ago, then bided his time, waiting for the perfect moment to spring his trap where he could say something and be assured someone will back him up.
All that planning, and as you note - destroyed in the rush of blood during execution. The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.Comment

Bird has not been doing much except shutting down his opponents. Mcglynn did that against Selwood but managed 22 touches and a goal himslef. A bit more of that would be nice. I didnt even know he was playing last night, did'nt see him once.Comment

i know, next year let's just drop the lowest pointgetter in each of supercoach and dreamteam and promote the highest possy getter and the highest goal-kicker from the reserves!
if the same person is indicated by both sc and dt i reckon we can risk consulting with the swans match committee. at least the damage to the swans can be limited.then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i knowComment
