Its the No Denthead Policy now. You can't play for the Swans if you head dents!

Swans may have already signed Walsh to a contract. Hence the speed of off loading Johnston. If he has signed then we might not hear anything done today if St Kilda refuses to budge. You certainly wouldn't hear of a contract signed with the Swans as that would be naughty.

The only thing that would negate that is confirmation that Walsh has signed with the Saints.

So according to their bloke Sydney have finished for the day. St Kilda refused to deal on Walsh. They are probably thinking he will re-sign or maybe he has changed his mind with the new coach.

So this may have to go to the draft or pre-season draft. It would serve St Kilda right if he walked.

So looks like that's it with a bit over an hour left.

Interesting to see what happens with Bevan and Moore now.

I suppose we only need to draft 2 in the National Draft.

It would have been peace of mind to secure Walsh today but might just have to wait a bit more.

I found it interesting that the Armstrong was not on trade tracker and my suspicions have been confirmed by John Clark on Fox Sports:
"1245: John Clark says: Plenty of questions coming in, just can't get to them all. I can tell you the Tony Armstrong deal is yet to be done..."

I think the lack of Armstrong trade being official is around the specifics of the late pick? It has always said that the late pick needed to be confirmed and you would assume this is what is holding it up ...

It's not done because the 'late draft pick' from Adelaide still has to be finalised.

Interesting why that hasn't happened. Perhaps if Walsh has done a re-jig and decided to stay, the Swans have decided not to trade Johnston. They can get Armstrong in pre-season.

You hardly think Crows would be haggling over a 5th round pick. Perhaps Swans are trying to squeeze out something better now becuase they won't have to trade Johnston but Crows need to pay up.

The Crows must have some sort of trade in the pipeline which will somehow affect the late pick they send us. Difficult to believe that's the case, but yeah.

TWR just said haggling over last pick. Which will be the Crows last pick but saying it's a done deal.

TWR are saying Swans are still talking about Walsh.

If they're still taking about Walsh when the Saints have basically told them to @@@@ off, maybe Walsh is prepared to walk? Why else would you bother talking if he'd accept the trade won't get done and will just stay with the Saints?

Gold Coast just gave 3 picks to Adelaide. So may have been waiting on that to go through first.
