Bevo has been named captain of the Perth Demons in the WAFL this season, and today produced a match-winning game for his team. 27 possessions, 9 marks and 6 goals. Great stuff Bevo!

Kristin Thornton, by the way, kicked three for Peel Thunder in another loss on Good Friday.
    How old is bevan?

Any chance of being picked up ala brett goodes next year?

GWS were stupid for not picking him up IMO.

He's still only 28, and yes, I reckon the Giants were mad not to take him.
He actually took 14 marks and also had two tackles and four inside 50s as well. Decent game by anyone's standards

Thank you Beemar. Have an enduring fondness for that boy. So I am thrilled to hear of his success as a leader (Captain), his ability to speak up at last (Captain), and his high end performance. We brought him up well.

I think he is doing some draft scouting for us in WA.

Congrats on being made captain and still playing good footy.

I wonder if he had any input into the drafting of Harrison Marsh then

Having just watched a game from 2010 I was surprised to see that Paul was from Pennant Hills FC. Maybe I had known that at the time but had forgotten. Also forgotten that he was with us for so long.

I don't think that's correct otherwise he would have been continually mentioned alongside other Pennant Hills alumni like the McvVeighs and Lenny Hayes

I originally thought he was from W.A as that is where he went after he left us.

According to Wikipedia, he grew up in Sydney and was recruited from Western Suburbs Magpies

Bevan used to be one of my favourite players based on his hardness at the ball. Reminded me a little of Paul Kelly's disregard for self preservation.

                            You're comparing Bevan and Kelly?

One of them owes Luke Vogels a premiership medal.

                              What's all this about? I can't remember.
