Freo just beat the reigning premiers despite their best player (Sandilands) being clearly a game or two shy of a full run and Michael Barlow only coming on as a sub late in the game. I'm not sure what more they need to do to be considered a legitimate club?

Taking the two first rounds into account and Freo's form vs us last year and its hard to see how they aren't favourites for any objective observer.

What may play into our hands is the week off.
I think the dockers may be a little sore after a contest like that with Geelong.
Oh.... And not to mention we're back at the SCG
      Ed Considine's day out - Round 3, 16th April 1995.
11 Kicks, 13 Handballs, 8 Marks, 1 Goal, 1 Behind, 1 Tackle, 1 Hitout, 3 Brownlow votes (his only votes)

Don't forget Pavlich He tends to lift against us too. And can someone hijack the Freo bus on the way from the airport on Friday and steer it towards the Cross or better still let them go to the Show and make them 'carbo load ' on some Pluto pups and cheese on a stick and they wont know if they should run onto the field or run straight to the loo.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I think Pykie has done a knee. Maybe he could sit on him.

On the Swans mobile app, the photo of the reserves report is captioned "Mark Seaby will return to the senior line-up on Saturday". I think this would be a good move.

Can we please send someone in who isn't going to play seniors this year to smash ballantyne and make it 21 against 21?

Freo looked good, hate to be Captain Obvious but Swans really need to lift. Is Seaby mobile enough to help contain Freo's man mountain? Also cannot afford to have as much wayward kicking that has almost become part of our trademark footy.

I am not a big fan of booing. HOWEVER, Swans fans you have my blessing to boo Hayden Ballantyne every time he touches the ball at the SCG.

I suspect that's what he plays for!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

We will definitely have to improve on the GWS effort. I watched the highlights of the other games as well. Adelaide were strong against the Suns the tewo Key Forwards carving them up. But I must admit if Goodes and Reid got that much space they would carve a side up too. McKenna must be seething. Dockers on the other hand, tough, skilled and delivered on the scoreboard where it counted. We have trouble doing that and if we are off the mark we will get done and if any of our blokes cough easy kicks in the backline like the GWS game they will punish us. They also have talls to go with our forwards so we need to rearrange that end. I think we need to think a little smaller and smarter and bring in Lamb, TDL and Nipper as well as Seabs.
