"Go back and have a look at the games that he's played against us, he's just absolutely dominated against us," Scott said.
"It shortened our match committee by about an hour this morning."
...Wells is the other to keep on a leash. Shaw, or maybe Bird might take him. Shaw could be required for Thomas, in Smith's absence, but I think Thomas might be too good overhead for Shaw. Maybe Mattner or AJ will take Thomas.
Hasn't Marty played on Wells in the past with pretty good results? I reckon they will at least start with that option.
"Fortunately, this is the internet, so knowing nothing is no obstacle to having an opinion!." Beerman 18-07-2017
Boomer has had a different role so far this year, ostensibly playing off HB to provide run and carry. Shaw could follow him up wherever he goes but McGlynn is also an option if Harvey reprises this role on Sunday.
That is why I suggested Rohan. His pace will help prevent Harvey's run from defence and his extra reach would dominate him in the air.
If HArvey is running off half back then Rohan might be a good option, he's playing HFF anyway and definitely has the toe to go with Boomer, Bird might get run around a bit too much, I mean Harvey is a lot quicker than Bird and as such could be well beaten if Harvey is getting to the ball first

Wouldn't mind that too much. Even if Harvey towels him up it would be a great lesson for Gazza.
Why do so many on here think it's going to be wet on Sunday?
The forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday is, "Partly cloudy with the possibility of isolated showers".
A typical eachway bet which generally means it ends up being dry.

Doesnt it always rain in Sydney when the swans are playing?...... In all seriousness though, it was mentioned earlier in the week in a thread ( this one ) that it was likely to be raining in Sydney all week, guess we should have checked the radar Ernie but if its written on RWO it is normally reliable, well informed information. Isn't it ?

Have you seen the telegraph today with the pictures of flooding in Eastwood? Cars floating away shops underwater? Fair enough, it's one suburb, but it aint far from there to the SCG, and if the weather is coming from the south, as it usually does this time of year, I can tell u in Wollongong we are being pissed on from a great height, and there doesn't look to be an end to it any time soon
My weather wall says there's an 80% probability of there being a 50/50 chance of rain on Sunday.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC
