Fantastic effort today by our young players - there has been a lot of hype around the roos youngsters - today confirmed that our young players are the equal of any in the competition - when Reid gets fit again we will be even better.

Did anyone else notice at the 3qtr time break when Horse was revving the players up, Bolton was looking all pumped and focused on everything Horse said yet Jessie was looking bored and disinterested ?

To be fair I think that's just Jesse's personality. Laid back and laconic. I saw that look in a lot of Ressies huddles last year.

We're finding new ways to critisise White now?

Not a criticism from me. Jesse isn't the fire and brimstone type so l wouldn't expect the same body language from him as I would say a Jude.

Jesse was certainly a lot better today.

I just thought it was amusing.. It wasn't meant to be critisism.. It just shows the different personalities of different players..

Definitely noticed Jude in the huddle , wow that was an intense face he had on. Mcglynns hardness set the tone for us early I thought. Malceski looks back to his best, and Jack seems to be going under the radar a bit but was fantastic again today. so many positives.

Fox Footy showed Gazza's leg break a bit earlier - it was a bad one and I just hope he recovers enough to be able to make an impression next year - I think its that bad so fingers crossed for the poor guy.

That aside, I think this team is building up a very large store of mental toughness which should hold us in good stead later in the season. Is there a harder, more mentally tough team going around at the moment? I don't think so anyway....

Good example today of someone staying on their feet and the other player sliding in knees first. Wonder if they'll look at that passage of play with Gaz? Probably not. Get well Gaz!!

Great win. Rapt with incy today and ive been tough on him. Parker is a GEM. Benny Mac back. Good arvo of footy. Amazing how well we do with no real forward line. Maybe there is one but we dont notice it!!

White's improving, that's for sure, while Reid has had a quiet couple of games. I reckon every opposition coach now has a specific plan for Reid, which we've started to see it roll out in the last two rounds. This is why we definitley need a second stable forward option, just to give Reid some space. Until then, I think the fact that he'll conistently be up against at least two, but likely three defenders in almost every contest will be good for his development.

Did you notice that he CLEARLY didn't use the same conditioner as last week? This is completely unacceptable.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

I saw a replay of the Rohan injury and was wondering, in the light of Goodes suspension, about the roos player who slid in boots first into Rohan's leg.

I likes our rotating forward line today. Gaz started at FF. White, ROK, Reid, Everitt and Seaby also played out of the goal square at various times.

Some of White's work below the knees today McGlynn would've been proud of.
