White does not hold instant appeal. The fellow Queenslander has fallen behind at Sydney where the ruckman-forward played just three games this season - the last in Round 7 against Richmond at the MCG.
Sydney's preference to protect its premiership players from the trade talks stops a quick deal with Adelaide.

The Crows would accept losing Tippett in return for 26-year-old defender Heath Grundy, a rookie selection from SANFL club Norwood.
Adelaide would accept a like-for-like deal that delivers them 21-year-old key forward Sam Reid.
There have been claims of senior Sydney players taking issue with the rush on Tippett and how his salary could challenge the team culture.
Sydney Swans fail to offer anything for Kurt Tippett

        Yep.
        From the above article.
ADELAIDE'S trade talks with Sydney for defecting key forward Kurt Tippett amounted to no more than a cup of coffee yesterday.

And the prospect of the Swans offering up out-of-favour forward Jesse White has fallen flat on the Crows.
Although I think Adelaide are off with the fairies too.

Why do you feel the need to SHOUT in your posts? After calling LRT the worst player you've ever seen, Walsh a 'horrible player' and now Tippett a hack, I don't think anyone is interested in hearing your little tantrums anymore.

Tippett/Danger/Walker for Jetta and we have a deal!

No chance of Jetta going - just won't happen.

This is becoming one of those trades where I just don't care anymore. Let him go to GC and then watch Reg and Ted shut him down next season. I'll enjoy that more at the present time.

And an Adelaide centric hack journo at that.

What Rucci cant seem to grasp is that this is not a case of the Swans trading a contracted player , this is the swans trading a player they are going to lose anyway.

Why would you give up your most promising forward or one of the corner stones of your backline to a player who is promising but not without their own flaws.

                    Completely agree!!

We won the whole @@@@ing thing people. Relax, enjoy the ride and above all trust the club that brought us 2 flags in 8 years.

I'm with Big Al (on this point that is...). I'm still buzzing about our Flag. Keep that high going as long as you can everyone!

I'm too sheepish to come up with any Jed Lamb puns. I do hope that we don't get fleeced on the Tippett deal though and that Adelaide don't try to pull the wool over our eyes.

Yep, agree that Reg may be the most suitable player we have to get the Tippett trade over the line.

If Reg does go, we could try and trade for Stephen Gilham from the Hawks. Wouldn't take much to get that trade done as Lake has taken Gilham's spot.

Gilham is not in the same league as Reg, but a defence built around Ted, LRT, Johnson, Gilham, Malceski, Mattner, Shaw and Smith would still be the number 1 in the league.

On SEN this morning they said that TDL's name has been mentioned as part of the deal but we are still a long way from agreement. Apparently, we have been offering a number of 'delisted'?!? players as part of the deal. I find it difficult to believe that we can offer someone who isnt on our list. I also find it difficult to believe that this farce will go on for 3 weeks. *sigh*

Why did trade week become trade three-weeks anyway? I realise that they wanted/needed to extend it because of free agency but it does seem to be a long period of time now.
