Na, I think after Rohan came back Foote then took the place of Talia who had a foot injury. Like for like....pretty simple really.

Papley I believe is in place of AJ (originally he was replacement for Rohan, when Rohan came back into the side, he took AJ's spot), I don't recall who Marsh was upgraded for (Robinson? Talia?) and I think Foote came in for Tippett - meaning once Tippett returns, Foote will be relegated back to the rookie list.
Happy to be corrected on any of that...
Yep correct, but I assume they will place Reid on the LTIL so that Foote will be available for finals.

Of course. I forgot about Reid. He also has a foot injury, so that is appropriate.

Interesting viewpoint and one that is worth considering only time will tell I guess

Very selective piece. "Plateaued into an above average ruckman..." Strange choice of words.

Alternate view: his value is as a ruck-forward.

Hurling People Now — Kurt Tippett is the best ruck-forward in the AFL...

Also, hard to take seriously an article that insists on using the lazy "Bondi billionaire".

The Roar article is very selective. Well you do that to emphasis a point (in this case negative). example is that 12 of those missed matches was due to having to serve a ban imposed on him before he could first play for the Swans.

I suppose my interest in the article was realising the number of games he has actually played over the contract period. I have been a great supporter of his but he has missed almost two seasons worth of games. I have no issue with his performance when he is on the field and the reason behind my posting was to see if others felt that the return on investment has been warranted?
Consider if Lance had only played the same ratio of games so far (64%) would the investment in his salary been justified? How would we have felt as supporters?

Hi initial 10 week or so ban for draft tampering was the typical AFL anti-swans BS of penalising us for something that Adelaide did.
If you exclude that, he's been serviceable.

I hope that Steve Taubert is spending this 2 weeks working hard with Tippett & Naismith to counter Mummy

I swear to god if Mummy hurts Tipoff in any way, shape or form, I'm going to stalk him... professionally.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Keep this thread alive! I think Mummy was talking about Naismith though

I'm more worried about Mumford lining up Hanners for a big hit. There seems to be a bit of animosity there. And as we know from the 2024 GF, Hannebury is a target for the opposition as they know how important a player he can be.
