Campbell Heath's disposal and decision making are terrible, not up to afl standard imo, last time he played in the seniors he turned the ball over 5-6 times in a row

Too true - watching replays of games on Fox Footy, it's amazing how often Bird would pop up in the right place at the right time. Also still an excellent run-with option. It's easy to miss what he does as it's not flashy but his 2012 was great. Undroppable if he keeps that up....."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

We are looking with eagerness to see how KT is going to strengthen our forward line, and to the time when Rohan will be back on the field to make it even better but what about Morton. His last few games, which were actually his first few games, were quite extraordinary when you think about it. Being thrown into finals games after struggling all season to get a game must have been very tough mentally. He said he was very nervous but he played with a certain amount of composure and seemed to fit in like he had been playing all year. From this little we have seen of him he could become as much a star as KT and before Reid and Gazza. How many stars can we fit into our forward line!! We also have Lamb waiting in the wings preparing to dazzle us with with his bit of magic. Wow, a five star forward line coming up - faint ........Comment

It was plain embarrassing and so bad he actually cost us the game. Guess the coaches weren't too happy they had to move him from his direct opponent twice then dragged him and he hasn't played a game since. He has played 2 games in 4-5 years at the club its no surprise we lost them both.Comment

You're not seriously trying to pass judgment on his prospective AFL 2 games from more than 2 years ago?Comment

I guess only time will tell, But im happy to take a wager that the club delists him at the end of next seasonComment

We are developing allot of depth. Everitt, Rohan, Meredith, Armstrong and Tom Mitchell are some of the players that are up to AFL standard that didn't play an AFL final. If we can land Tippett, we may have an embarrassment of riches next year (although I think we will lose a player to land Tippett). Getting a bit excited!!!2005 will live forever (or until we win another premiership)

If we get Tippett and everyone is fit, who is in the Swans best 22 next year
Just listening to the AFL trade radio and Terry Wallace suggested that from the GF team LRT, Morton and Pyke would miss out for Tippett, Rohan and McGlynn.
But would we really drop 2 talls for a tall and a small??
GF team
B: Rhyce Shaw Ted Richards Martin Mattner
HB: Alex Johnson Heath Grundy Nick Smith
C: Lewis Jetta Kieren Jack Daniel Hannebery
HF: Craig Bird Sam Reid Ryan O'Keefe
F: Jarrad McVeigh Adam Goodes Lewis Roberts-Thomson
Foll: Shane Mumford Josh Kennedy Jude Bolton
Int: Nick Malceski Mike Pyke Mitch Morton
Luke Parker (sub)
I agree that Tippett, Rohan and McGlynn come in to the team if fit, but the way i see it Tippett comes in for Pyke (very unlucky), Rohan in for Morton but who goes out for McGlynn??
Does LRT lose his spot? Surely he is a better back up ruck than Tippett.
Would like to hear your thoughts!
Cheers Tabs
