I agree. I think Mitch Morton represents all that is good about the Swans and their recruiting and there seemed to be this cone of silence about him in the pre season.

We don't have a long injury list, but we do have a long list of players coming back from injury.
Longmire:
Laid low by an ankle injury and then a back problem, Longmire said Morton could return to action this week, but seems a long shot to play in round one.
"We think he's good enough to play in our senior team, obviously, but whether he, combined with Mattner, Smith, Mumford, Goodes ? can you have them all in the one team?" he asked. The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible newsComment

the latest on Rohan from Henry Playfair
?We?d like to think he?s on track to certainly play reserves at some stage in the second half of the year,? Playfair told Crocmedia?s Sportsday.
?I think it?s still a bit hard to project six months down the track but if all goes well, I?d say he?d be playing reserves in the second half of the year.?Comment

Officially, the Premiership Five - Mattner, Smith, Mumford, Bird and Morton - are all in line for selection on Saturday.
Would be pretty surprised if Mattner plays. Mumford and Morton haven't had much of a gallop either.

I was wondering about this when they showed them icing it.
They don't normally ice an ACL do they??
Also from the vision of the tackle it didn't look like he'd wrenched it badly, or twisted it awkwardly.
Some good news.
