I don't understand these continuing nasty comments about McVeigh by a tiny minority of RWOers. He has consistently been one of our best players this year, in my view he is a great captain organising a much depleted back line and seems to be liked and respected by his team colleagues. We would be in a very much worse position without him.Comment

The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.Comment

To be fair, I go on like a pork chop in the crowd but obviously the players (probably) don't hear what I say. I was very upset last week at the MCG :@
I am not taking away from his performance this year, overall he has been very good esp the first half of the year. But I haven't seen Kizza lose his marbles like Macca this year and I think Macca just needs to calm his farm a bit.Comment

Jack, as the other Captain, displays non of the same behaviour. Nor does anyone else in the team.

Hardly nasty comments. Simple description of a player who has an enormously inflated ego and doesn't hesitate to rip into his team mates when things are not to his liking.

For a guy who spent the first half of his career, avoiding contact and turning the ball over....It's a bit rich for him to go off so openly, and demonstratively, denigrating others mistakes.Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment

These were:
Number of times seen flapping his arms - 0 times
Number of times seen abusing team mates - 0 times
So hopefully we will have a repeat of all the above stats next week.
McVeigh is on Game Day at 10 am today. So we should know more about last night's injuries.Nothing like a good light bulb moment.Comment

Well this escalated quickly
PAUL Roos is accused of trampling on his legacy at the Swans by trying to recruit young Sydney stars to join him at the Demons. The new Melbourne coach, who guided Sydney to their 2005 premiership and established the famed Bloods culture, has set his sights on highly rated Swans academy players.
Chairman Richard Colless is furious at the actions new Melbourne coach who is attempting to lure the academy?s best prospect 18 year old Lloyd Perris to the Demons.
