?Pretty much all the players get an exit row seat except for blokes like Benny McGlynn and Kieren Jack,? Mumford said.
?You can put blokes like that anywhere.
?They are tiny and they can?t reach the floor when they?re sitting on the seat.?
Funny guy. Hope we keep him.
He had another line about his partnership with Mike where he said something like "he's definitely more of an AFL player than a rugby player now - but he wasn't much of a rugby player anyway".
Now Sam Landsberger from the Herald Sun is stating Dean Towers could make his debut!
Swans must have hired out the plane....
Question should be - who didn't make the trip? Tippett & Mitchell are locks, anyone else NOT make the trip?
We must have taken everybody, including the whole 18/19 Academy Squad. Lloyd Perris will be making his d?but soon and he isn't even on the list yet LOL. We bought the airline!
Just on last weeks and this weeks game... I'd just like to say how much in awe I am of Jetta sometimes. I think he will be the difference Saturday.
Of all the players I've been wrong about in all my years of watching the swans... Jetta is it. He just electrifies the team. I said in 2011 that I thought he was a dud and I never want to see him wearing red and white again. How freakin wrong I was. He's what Jamie Lawson was supposed to be.
Although he doesn't get as much possession as players like Hannebery and Jack, the touches he does get are absolutely vital. Superb kick of the ball. I get excited every time he gets the ball.

It will certainly be considered one of our gutsiest wins of all time. Next best being Port Prelim 2003 in my opinion.
We lost the 2003 prelim to Brisbane the eventual winners. We won the Qualifying final against Port in Adelaide to host a home prelim. Was a good win though, I remember it well - I was a student back then working on Saturdays and was a bit too "sick" to go into work. Barry Hall did some great ruckwork in the game because Jason Ball was injured from memory??? He definitely rucked and played well up the field I remember.
That Port win you refer to has got nothing on the "NICK DAVIIIIIIIIIS" 2005 semi-final win against Geelong or the 1996 prelim win over Essendon when Plugger kicked the monster point to win by 1 though. Also in 1996 Cressa taking a mark in the goal square to kick the go-ahead goal was also a classic. Remember also the great Qualifying win against the Eagles here in Perth in 2006 I was lucky enough to be at. So I think that Port game is in the 2nd tier of finals win for the Swans, but an important one nonetheless

Bloodsbigot said the gutsiest and for that, it stands alone I reckon. O'Loughlin did his hammy in the last game of the H&A season against the Dees and we lost a number of players during the game. No one gave us a chance (including myself) and we were 7 goals in front at half time. Still the most enjoyable game I've attended.

Yeah I must admit I did re-read it and saw "gutsiest". The '05 semi must be up there considering how far behind we were. Wish I had a copy of that game!!!
Am I right in that we didn't have Bally either in the Port game?

Yep, spot on. Goodesy rucked all day pretty much. From memory, I think he got a bit of help from Roberts-Thomson and Hall in the forward line.
Doyle and Seymour got injured very early.

Surely Towers won't play, it's theoretically not too late for him to make the trip but I would imagine the only changes will be LRT for Tippett and one of Rohan/Lamb/McGlynn/B.Jack in for Mitchell.
with your permission Swanwolf, I'd like to copy this onto a piece of paper and pin it up on my wall at work. Whenever I need a good laugh, I'm going to read it again.
Gold.
Sure you can! As long as you fix any typos I made.
Back on track, Selections: what be they? Unsurprisement BJ's in the mix, his name was first from the Horses' mouth when asked which reserves players stood out against Belconnen. May be a ploy since Longmire's still smarting from Clarko's earlier ruse. McGlynn's a near certainty after what happened in Adelaide last year, won't be dropped now unless injured.
Glad Lamb's a chance. Had we left him at home, I'm not sure he'd be there when we got back. Towers is a smokey if the chatter is to be believed. In for Tippett if LRT doesn't get up would be my guess.
