The Dockers will be very tough at home and deserve to be favourites given our outs. Labelling them pretenders isn't giving them the respect they deserve. I think we rightly go in as underdogs, but that's just how I like it, would be great to surprise a few people and it would be even greater to be sitting with the Swans cheer squad if we got a win! I couldn't make it to the Eagles game this year so this will be my first time this season seeing them live. Will be good to see Jude one more time. Hopefully he's got 2 more games left though!!!
Going in as underdogs; I wouldn't have it any other way. Puts way more psychological pressure on Freo and their history of failure.

I have respect for Fremantle. They've done better than us this season (They finished above us). I really do think they're pretenders though, despite the respect. If they pull off an upset (In my eyes) and beat us, it will prove they're the real deal. I'm unconvinced though.

Look at their wins and losses for the year. No better or worse than us. Only big difference is Geelong at home.

Don't think this game will be a blowout. A close one... the swans giving us all heart-attacks as usual.

That changed in the final quarter, when suddenly they couldn't miss.

That doesn't mean I don't think we can win (though it will take a mighty effort). I just don't think you can take a huge amount from that earlier game.
I suppose I could have been seeing the same game through rose-coloured glasses. Wait and see I guess. As my username implies... I'm a bigot when it comes to the swans. No team exists or matters except them.

Bizarrely, after our past month of football, I actually give us a chance. A small chance (maybe 33% at best), but still a chance. We are sore and our form before the Carlton game has been poor but one thing that must be said about the way Lyon coaches his teams is that it often ends up being a battle of the mind, which team does the disciplined things and can stay focused in the heat of the moment. Don't count the Swans out!

McGlynn reminds me of Rudy... from the movie Rudy. Just wants to play in the big game but just can't make it because of his size. In this case... injury.

Absolutely, we're traveling on the same astral plane. We can win this, and ideally we can also wear purple in the grand final as well (it's nice to mix it up every now and then!).
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

There must be a couple of others on the plane who didn't play last week. We know we have to replace two (at least) plus they will have taken over some emergencies as well. Lamb and LRT maybe?

Finally some confidence in our defending premiers! I've been surprised by the number of Swans followers who have said that they did not register for GF tickets today even though they were Premiership members. This could be the sweetest and greatest season of all time.

                  C'mon, back the boys in.

Just on last weeks and this weeks game... I'd just like to say how much in awe I am of Jetta sometimes. I think he will be the difference Saturday.

Of all the players I've been wrong about in all my years of watching the swans... Jetta is it. He just electrifies the team. I said in 2011 that I thought he was a dud and I never want to see him wearing red and white again. How freakin wrong I was. He's what Jamie Lawson was supposed to be.

Although he doesn't get as much possession as players like Hannebery and Jack, the touches he does get are absolutely vital. Superb kick of the ball. I get excited every time he gets the ball.

It will certainly be considered one of our gutsiest wins of all time. Next best being Port Prelim 2003 in my opinion.

Yes, I'm on the plane now. McGlynn is down in economy but we can still hear him. Little man, big voice. LRT is also here, signing autographs! Smooch is counter offering with autographed copies of his Cleo BOTY nomination issue but people keep asking Nick who? SuperTed is playing Dungeons & Dragons on his iPad (geek), Pebbles is in the galley trying to rustle up some decent food while Hanners is running up and down the isle with his arms out pretending to be an aeroplane.

Joey is in the loo - again. His girlfriend also made the flight, must be in his contract or something. Don't know where she is at the minute...
Mummy has finished his in-flight meal and started on ROK's tray. Crampe is just looking out the window, correction - he's fluffing his hair in the reflection. So Vain. Jesse is on the phone talking to his aunty who lives in Fremantle. Ross is a funny name for an aunt, I think. The All Canadian Ruckman is correcting the steward's safety instructions and Birdy is heckling the in-flight movie: Meet the Dockers! Parks is scrawling down phone numbers from the stewardesses while Shiggsy and Cunners are playing Pokemon or whatever the kids are into these days.

Biggest news of all is Goodesy is on board! He & Bolts are playing bridge against Horse and Dew. Jude has his warface on, they are losing. Down back, Captain 'Shouty' McVeigh is taking everyone else to the cleaners in a serious poker match save for Kizza & Brandy. Grundy, Everitt and Armstrong have already folded but can he beat a pair of Jacks?

Actually, I may have made all that up. Selection this week is driving me a litlle crazy... Okay, a lot crazy.

Anything to relieve the stress! If you're wondering where Jetta is, he's running across the Nullabor and said he'll wait for us at the airport. Should be plenty match fit after that!
