If LRT is on the plane i expect him to play. Otherwise he needs the game time in Brissie

I'd play Jed and Benny and have Andrejs floating forward. In assuming after 1 Ressies game LRT isn't ready for a prelim.

Why would we bring in LRT when:

          - the 3 (rather than 4) tall set up worked so well next week
          - it's even more important to have a mobile team at Pattersons
          - we don't need him in defence at the moment
          - he's well and truly underdone

Freo don't have a tall forward line. But they do have 3 very good tall defenders. Perhaps Drej will move forward to keep Michael Johnson in the backline. I'm sure Lyon and Horse will both remember how damaging he was moving forward in the Freo comeback in the H&A draw.

I think we need to roll the dice and take some risks.

LRT is a gamble but if we do happen to win we will certainly need him against Hawthorn - need to keep one eye on the main prize and if we want to play him Sat week then he needs some decent time this week. He also gives us a little extra hieght with KT out.

He's a proven finals players, add in McGlynn and we're looking OK.

I think the Melbourne media are still getting over it won't be a Hawthorn/Geelong grand final. Go Swans.
Jon Ralph is a fool. He tweeted just after the MRP ratings that ted "took a bloke out". No he didn't, he laid a shepherd which was completely legal other than the fact that it included contact that was slightly high. One week down to a reprimand is appropriate. Chapman took out the kicker, and left his feet. Two simple differences. Two too many for Jon Ralph clearly.

The top Herald Sun writers, Mark Robinson and Jon Ralph, aren't any more knowledgeable about footy than the average fan. They are especially lame when it come to the non Victorian teams.

A bit hard on the average fan.

LRT should play, if only to remind these guys how wrong they are.

The Swans don't possess a swingman in the Harry Taylor mould and usually stick to their structures for the most part.

As if! LRT is the king of swing, the Wasim Akram of AFL. Harry is merely a backman who goes forward. LRT does all of that and rucks as well. AND he is known as Mr September.

LRT has done it all, knows his limitations, knows his strengths. I would rather have a half fit LRT on the deck than not. He can be trusted.

Weather's going to be pretty average I think. They're expecting it to be really windy and we've had heavy rain the last week & a half no sign of it stopping. Very odd for Perth in September! We don't want to be too top heavy if this forecast holds true, but as a few have said LRT really is Mr September and I'd like to see him back!!!

I'm actually quite confident and have faith in my swannies to get over the line against the dockers.

                            Why?

Our drawn-game against them earlier in the year. A lot of docker supporters use this game as an example of their superiority over us due to their last quarter comeback. I have a very different view. I believe this game shows our superiority over them. You have to remember we were beating them for most of the game and were leading them by 20-something points in the final quarter. It was a good effort by them to come back given they were trailing for the entire game. But the simple fact is they WERE indeed trailing for most of the game and it's an indication we were the better team. One flukey quarter doesn't make them better. We saw this against Essen-done last year.

Their easy draw. I haven't seen an easier fixture since last years Adelaide Crows. Look how weak the teams were on their run home.

The cats are not a clear indication where the dockers are at. They tend to match-up well on the cats and the dockers seem to be the cats bogey team as the magpies are for us (Although we've reversed that a little as of late).

The only thing that can beat us are our injuries, our young guys lack of finals experience and Ross Lyon's gameplan (He really is the master coach, like his style or not).

This is going to be an awesome game and win or lose I'm supremely glad I follow the swans and am very happy with the year we've had given the circumstances (Injuries, etc). Similar to last year, I'm satisfied making the Prelim. Anything from here is just a bonus. In saying that, I totally expect a win against the dockers. I would even go as far to say they're pretenders.

I'm scared to include LRT because I still have memories of Bradshaw in the semi-final 2010. If we hadn't included him I still believe we would have won that match.

Don't want to experience that again.

If it weren't for Sam Reid taking that mark in the drawn game it would have been a loss, they really choked to not even get a behind out of the shot on goal - but we choked to let them back in it so it was chokes all round.

The Dockers will be very tough at home and deserve to be favourites given our outs. Labelling them pretenders isn't giving them the respect they deserve. I think we rightly go in as underdogs, but that's just how I like it, would be great to surprise a few people and it would be even greater to be sitting with the Swans cheer squad if we got a win! I couldn't make it to the Eagles game this year so this will be my first time this season seeing them live. Will be good to see Jude one more time. Hopefully he's got 2 more games left though!!!

My recollection of that Freo game is that they were the better side for most of the game but couldn't kick straight at goal to save their lives. The lady I sit next to had brought a couple of Freo supporting friends with her and we were all rolling around laughing at some of the ways Freo conjured up to fluff their shots at goal. That changed in the final quarter, when suddenly they couldn't miss.

That doesn't mean I don't think we can win (though it will take a mighty effort). I just don't think you can take a huge amount from that earlier game.
