I am confident the game is in Adelaide....

One thing I will say is Horse has some leadership qualities. Easy to knee jerk make five changes, look like you are willing to make 'hard decisions' he stuck by his players that have been good for him. Not singled them out for blame. Regardless of results I have more respect for him this week. Set a new tone. Y getting up on 'on the couch'

    Hopenitnpays off for him

You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

Surely our mob can beat their mob "on paper".

        So i'd go for:

        McGlynn Pyke Parker

        Rohan Franklin LRT
Perhaps we will persist with the no forward line strategy.

We're going to the game so we must win. Nothing worse than leaving the ground after the final siren with all those smug Adeaide Cows supporters.

Interesting that the Cows made five changes - an unsettled side that we must put away!

Surely we will be paper premiers this year!

How is it possible that we can recruit Tippett and Franklin and still not have a forward line?

On the injury front: There are so many injuries all around the league, and to so many top players, that despite our injury list, it's really no excuse. We were better off than the Pies and are better off than Adelaide in this regard.

We have 14 Swans premiership players plus Buddy in our team on Saturday. The Crows have somewhere around 1. On paper it should be a 10 goal win!!!!!

Any idea how bad the Reid injury is?

I see no real changes of note except those forced on us by injury. The lack of a forward line implies the continuation of"slingshot" football which even an injury decimated Collingwood countered with ease.Obviously the "B" grade must be devoid of talent as some of these players had "shockers" and have still retained their place. Either that or form doesn't matter at selection night. This is not leadership ,it is lack of leadership and the Crows with 5 changes has responded to their poor form in a pro-active positive way. I fear the enthusiasm and freshness of these Crow players out to secure a position in the "A" grade.

I fear we may have lost this one at the selection table unless our stars from last year start to perform eg Buddy kicks 6.

Just remember that the Crows are soul searching like we are: We need to get back to that tight in close bashing midfield game. Like we did against the Crows in the QF of 2012. We are not in the form of 2013, when we smashed the Crows in Adelaide.

If we can keep the game tight and in close, that will frustrate guys like Sloan and Dangerfield.

When we do go forward we need good delivery into space for Franklin and Co.

Back the Swans midfield to have a big game.

Adelaide Oval may be a long ground but it is narrow like ANZ which doesn't suit our game.
Narrow grounds make it easier to close down the runners.
This maybe a real defensive slog.

Ah well, lets see what happens on Saturday, but I must say I'm not confident at all, despite Adelaide having just as wretched a start to the season as us.
I'd like to see BJ back to do this, but it looks as though he reserves form is a bit down - although we haven't had a chance to see the reserves yet.

Cassie was tweeting from the reserves last week and she said jb looked good. He's also named as emergency so the club must think he's in good form
