J Lloyd was a second year rookie before upgrade last week. Lloyd perris only just joined swans rookie list this year so he is still developing but I have heard good things.

Time for a change and let bring both Tippett and Nanverkis in!
Grundy must also be look at; we must have someone else better than him in the reserves wanting a game!
They were playing against Sandilands. He wins the hitouts by a wide margin every week. That is why your fantasy points suffered.

We are such a strange bunch....we have a good win and people are calling for reserves to be brought in to gain experience against weaker opposition, as though we are automatically back on track and it is going to be an easy win. We lost to GWS lads, lets get back to reality. This is a time for consolidation, not flamboyance. If K. Jack is injured bring in Biggs to a back pocket and move Nick Smith on to the ball. Otherwise no changes.

As long as Tippett doesn't do any rucking. It's too risky for him to re injure at the moment

Just watched the Tippett 2s highlights. Moving well, strong hands, working up the ground. He looks great. Must not be risked in ruck though. Keep playing Derickz; he's on the improve and will only get better. RLT to miss? With Tippett and Buddy in F50 it's hard to see room for him. If RLT does miss, it will be the first match we've played without a 2005 premiership player in the 22.

I would agree with you if we were playing a team with two dominant ruckman such as West Coast, GWS, Hawks, Collingwood or Geelong. Melbourne has Jake Spencer who is not yet a dominant ruckman and Peterson who is a utility like LRT.

Against the Demons we will be fine with Pyke and LRT, with Tippett playing forward. LRT is a better forward than Tom D and provides greater agility and defensive pressure. LRT can also play, which gives the team great flexibility.

The more I try to remember when the swans played someone to gain experience against 'weaker opposition', the more my head hurts.
Anyone have any memory of this actually happening?

Let's just go in with our strongest possible team and smack the opposition please.

Melbourne ruck stocks are weak, Spencer is still developing and Pederson is only a 193cm spud. Perfect opportunity to bring in Tippett, drop our spud Derickx and use LRT as the relief ruckman.

So it's basically Tippett for Derickx - a no brainer change IMO.

Got to heavily tag Nathan Jones, he is the only dangerous player in their midfield, got 30 possies against Gold Coast to keep the Tankers vaguely in the game ..... oh the incompetents goal umpiring and score reviewng helped them too! Seen that one? unbelievably hopeless for paid officials.

                          Really??
Who would have thought. Unless ROK gets a reprieve.

When was the last time LRT was dropped for form or structural reasons? I'd back him to be one of the first picked in the team every week. He's not going anywhere.

                              Harry Cunningham against GWS?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
