I think Matt80 put it out there earlier in this thread but I wouldn't mind us having a crack at developing Sam Blease, raw pace is invaluable in the modern game.
Provided of course, that we get him for next to nothing in a trade and he's happy to play for minimum wage with the carrot being a possible premiership.Twitter @cmdil

We could, I suppose, but I can't see why the club would and it's not behaviour they have ever displayed before. We don't even know whether the club sees Membrey firmly in its short term future plans, or whether they are fairly indifferent to him staying. We don't know if they can accommodate a salary similar to levels he might be offered from other clubs. It's not like we're talking about an established first team player. This is a kid probably ready to play senior footy but with little opportunity thus far. If Goodes plays on next year, its hard to see that changing, especially with the likes of Towers and Jack also hovering around the fringes as different kinds of non-key forwards.Comment

Maybe. But it might have been questions about his hamstring he wanted to avoid answering. Or maybe he was just busy looking after his hamstring.Comment

I have been told, third hand but from a source I consider to be pretty sound, that Ryno has agreed to join the Crows next year in a player-coach role.Comment

I am not overly surprised. I think Sanderson is quite a stupid coach, who relies too much on his perception of his players' ability and not enough on team thingies. I shudder to think how good a player Dangerfield might be if he had a decent coach who pointed out that there is no point him contesting every ball at full tilt when they have players like Sloane and the Crouch brothers to do that, and instead he should play in a way that makes proper use of his size, strength and explosiveness.

Given Roosy didn't think he was even worthy of a game, at the lowly Demons. How is Blease going to improve the Swans list?
He maybe worth a punt, at a low ranked club in desperate need of some speed. But I doubt he'd get a look in at the Swans.Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment

If the Swans don't believe ROK could no longer play quality senior footy then other clubs would take notice.Comment
