ANZ have to make money, you know.
Spotless is a far better ground to watch footy at than ANZ, and is probably better viewing-wise than the SCG. If you haven't been there, give it a go.

Don't hold your breath waiting for that.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I had heard that, but my one and only experience there was terrible - it rained and the Swans lost. I have not been back since round 1, 2014.

Seriously though, I was tempted to go to the GWS game on Sunday ($9 tickets) and very sorry I didn't

I wonder if they'll park the bus like they have against almost every team this season in the premier league

If they do, it'll have to do a circuitous lap around the stadium precinct first and deal with Parramatta Road.

Yawn. Jaded since January, in a post World Cup season, and got done what was needed to. The first half of the season was scintillating. The Swans and Chelsea are pretty similar, really. So similar, in fact, that we had a 37 year old leading the line for far too many games. Same as what will happen when Buddy is completing his contract

Anyway, even if the kids play, there'll be the core of the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League champions. I'm keen to see Solanke, Brown, and Loftus-Cheek more than anyone. Well, except for Hazard. Even if they don't play, being in the same building as The Special One will be all worthwhile!!

I was only stirring penga - Chelsea have done very well this year, and thoroughly deserve to win the league (Im a city fan - so I'm disappointed with our limp end to the season). As for Mourinho - can't stand the guy, but his ability to make a team hard to beat and effective is second to none at the moment!

Chance of showers at SCG today is 60%. Chance of showers at ANZ Stadium is 30%.

Caught some of the Bulldogs- Roosters game and there were players running in a straight line and slipping over. Parts of the surface look waterlogged.

No matter what sport is played there at night, it gets very slippery. Football (soccer) is probably the only one where that doesn't really matter as much, although it does make some difference.

Only 28,000 there tonight, compared with 37,000 to the corresponding game last year at the SCG which was on a Thursday night.

ANZ may have its good points, but the people just don't want it.

Very disappointing crowd Barry do you have any valid or viable reasons why this is the case ?
Would assume it would have drawn a crowd of at least 35,000 if it was at the SCG

Its 'orrible. Staff have no concept of what a reserved seat is. The lit signage is so bright it was masking bits of play. Cannot wait for the SCG takeover, even tho they are also wooses when it cames to wawa.
