Nope, positioning, wise head and calmness are more important than speed and Marsh is not that quick anyway.

Don't often agree with Barry but i think he's right a huge risk taking McVeigh in. Dogs are quick on the outside and their forwards are excellent at getting the ground ball. McVeigh will get caught for pace and get turned around.

Mills hasn't played in 20? days or something

McVeigh picked up 23 posessions, 5 tackles, 4 marks, 1 goal against the Bulldogs earlier this year. He's smart and knows what it takes to win a GF. If he's fit he's an asset.

A fully fit McVeigh can win matches but if he pings his calf again we're down a rotation for the third week in a row. Our second halves last two weeks were average and went goal for goal.

It is true our second halfs were just 'Meh' but because of excellent starts that is all they needed to be. I feel we could of turned it on again if necessary against the Cats or against the Crows if we had of needed to, had it got close.

Laider can also go forward if need be, so can Macca. I think you'll find out team moves around a lot to throw them off. X can go back too. Ted would be a mistake as he is slowed to a walk this year. Laidler reads the play well

                        A question.

Most of the debate on here has been about a mix of Aliir, McVeigh and Mills being available, so a question of who is squeezed out.

We know Aliir is now out. But what if both Mills and McVeigh pull up badly tomorrow? Who comes in?

Sadly, I think Ted is done and they won't be playing Reid as some have suggested.

So my guess is Cunningham as he played a back half role before losing his spot, and his size/speed is the right fit for the Dogs. Contrary views on next best?

Your ongoing vendetta against him leads me to ask the question
Which of your pet dogs did he kick ?
