Interesting new hair do on display by Aliir in the training video up today on the Swans' website. Wonder if that will last once the season starts.

We know AA is a keen basketball fan, so maybe that's who he's taken his inspiration from.

              You've embarrassed him now.

                2. Jordan Dawson. There were a few sentences about him on the Swans website today. He was singled out as being in good shape and wanting to make and impact.
                3. Jordan Foote: Won the 3k time trial, but it's hard to crack into our midfield without injuries. There will be the added task to 2 new (hopefully) very good players coming in this draft, but I don't think anyone is a walk up starter at the Swans.
                4. Colin O'Riordan. He might get a go early in the season if he does well in the pre-season games and AJ or someone else starts on the LTIL, giving COR a rookie elevation slot to fill.
                5. Abe Davis: I've got too much invested in this kid to let go just yet. I've got him working on his fitness, hoping to get another go in the rookie draft. His skinfolds are almost the same as mine, so he's making progress. KB promised that if he can pass Reg's 'fat-arse' test by the weekend we'll give him another chance. Abe thought it would easy to pass, until I told him his arse had to be smaller than Reg's. He has to run to Myanmar and back if he wants dinner tonight.
Hang on....Chiang Rai to Myanmar isn't that far. I think you are letting him off a bit easy.

A couple of articles on sydneyswans website about the first time trial with the whole squad this morning:

Hannebery flies in time trial - sydneyswans.com.au
                  Gallery: 3km time trial - sydneyswans.com.au

Foote and Cunningham 2nd and 3rd behind Hanners - good for them. Looks like Robbo and COR also put in good efforts.

Great pics, Levii3! Thanks for linking. Isaac looks like a beast - and obviously his topless form was a bit of a magnet for the camera.

The only person looking more happy and relaxed than JPK is Horse. He's no doubt happy it's not him sweltering in Sydney's muggy conditions this morning.

Yeah Heeney is looking midfield ready! BJ has come back looking really fit too, I'm still hoping he can break into the seniors again this year

Article on news.com.au today said Franklin (shoulder), Parker (knee), and Naismith (shoulder) failed to train today. Were these all the injuries incurred in the GF or are they new ones? Hopefully the former.

Heeney looks like a beast? What about JPK! Has he become a gym junkie? He looks scary.

Horse mentioned AJ, NS, LF and AJ as not being in full training yet. Evidently NS and Buddy had shoulder surgery after the GF, due to prior injuries and Parks on his knee or recovering from a knee injury sustained in the Prelim. final. So all three played the GF with injuries - as well as Macca, Mills and KT being underdone.
