Not if Jesinta then makes Buddy go with her to the gym. She has a frighteningly tough training program (videos on her Instagram account)!

Disappointing news about Parker in particular given he is a key player for us. An interrupted pre-season probably means that he will not have the running base to start the season on the ball. I therefore would anticipate him playing forward more than usual in the early rounds until his running base is up. Who therefore will step up to fill the void?

Parks will be fine me thinks

The guy played with a completely buggered knee in the GF

If someone was needed to play inside for the first few rounds Jordan Foote plays the most dominant inside role week in week out for the NEAFL team

Looks like Jarman Impey followed Buddy's pre-season training (when he first came to us), by trashing parked cars. The difference was Impey ran away, and Buddy faced up to it (from memory).

Isn't Heeney moving from forward line to midfield full-time next year. What about covering loss of Paps?

Hopefully Hewett and Mills and maybe Jones and Rampe can all spend a bit more time on the ball. May create room for Newman, Dawson or one of the new guys.

No club wants injuries, but they do create opportunities for emerging players to show their capabilities, which is beneficial for both the players and the club. I expect that we will have a dozen good candidates ready to fill roles to cover injuries to our best 22. We naturally want our best team on the park when finals come around. It's evident from emerging news that several players were carrying injuries into the GF as well as Buddy and Hanners getting injured during the game.

It didn't sound like Parker will miss that much of the pre-season if he doesn't have any setbacks from here. Papley, on the other hand, is facing around a 4 month recovery, which should bring him just to the beginning of the season, so will probably start in the reserves, even if his recovery goes to plan.

                  Hey Markwebbos,

                  There are plenty of options.
Rose, Cunningham, Robinson, Towers, Jack to name a few. Don't forget that Reid will also be back.

                          Nice one, Ludwig.

You might need some new specs, liz.

Surprised how tall Sam Murray is! Likewise was surprised to read (elsewhere) Shaun Edwards described as a 'small forward' when he is reportedly 190 cm!

Does anyone know what time the Swans typically train at Lakeside Oval each morning? Or some mornings?

From what I've observed they normally hit the field, when they're there, at about 8-8.30. I'm not sure which days are best but I tend to target Monday/Wednesday/Friday and that has held me in fairly good stead.

I was rapt to see the photos of Reid & Alex Johnson training and also Hannebery running injury free as well as Mcveigh.
