I had a football related dream a few months ago, in which I found myself actually playing in a Swans game. I got the ball under pressure, in the middle of the SCG. I could see Aliir in space and motoring down the wing. I hit him with a thirty metre kick, but unfortunately, immediately woke up with a sore big toe, from kicking the bedroom wall.
And strangely, in my sleep, I went with my left foot. Even though in my waking hours, I'm very right dominant.Comment

In this article - Gallery: Sweatin' in the new year - sydneyswans.com.au - does anyone recognise the other players in the photos with Rhyce Shaw and Zak Jones? All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)

I watched Jake playing in the North Coast competition for years.
For me, it appears that over age players, U19s like Jake in the Academy, or top ups, can train with the swans. Just a guess.

They definitely do. There are seemingly always players from outside our list training with the Swans. All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)

Generally only Academy players. The Academy top ups all train with the swans so they know the game plan come match day and are on the same wave length as the list players. That has helped us to two NEAFL GF's in a row.

Sam Reid is looking really fit and has built up his upper body incredibly. He is going to be very hard to shift in a contested marking contest now he has the upper body weight along with that beautiful spring. His hands, generally, have been good, except in front of his body at times, but with extended shoulder size he will allow less chance for defenders to spoil.Comment
