Wow
I think florent is an extremely composed young player and has exceptionally good vision for his age and a lovely low accurate kick for targets
He is simply a young small build playing a simple run with pressure role in his first year of snr footy
there was so many people on this forum that detested the way lloyd played in his first year yet lloyd is now one of our most composed valuable transition players........so much so that Alistair Clarkson in his interview when we played the Hawks last commented how llloyd was a massive OUT for the swans
I think florent played equally well at 18yrs of age only as lloyd if not better in their debut seasons
and will be on a massive trajectory as a link transition player for the future of the swans"be tough, only when it gets tough"

With a good pre-season he should play a lot more senior football next year with 2019 being his breakout season.
Equally he seems to be a really good young kid and very coachable and grateful for what he has here.Comment

I must confess that I'm one of those who didn't think must of Lloyd up until 18 months ago. I thought that he was slow and had poor disposal. Shows how much horse knows about footy in comparison to most of us.Wow

Lloyd now one of our most important players, a credit to himself and the coaches. We are accumulating a lot of players who have great composure, Lloyd being one of them.Comment

I agree Florent's going to be a great player for us. Composed, skilful, good at working in limited space, hopefully will have good endurance and be invaluable for transition and slotting the odd goal if he is playing front half.Wow

Interesting point about Clarko - Lloyd is his kind of player. Runs fantastically and a neat, precise deliverer of the footy. All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)

Yes please!
Having said that I doubt very very much that he will leave the Bombers, their one year drug ban has been the best thing to happen to their list (scumbags that they are) and I expect they'll tie him up.
However, if we do have a bit of spare cash lying about and he is keen to leave then I'd make a play. And in a situation like that you'd think it would mean Jared is off for sure.
Can't see it happening thoughComment

I'd have him over Dusty, to be honest. Suits our needs much more.Yes please!

So Dusty $1.3M per year from Richmond, $1.5M per year both 7 year deals.
& if he signs with the Tigers he's sacrificing $1.4M over the life of his contract.
1) Buddy is now a bargain basement contract
2) does Richmond have the same "he will be in your cap regardless of whether he's watching the game from the centre square, the medical room or from incarceration?"Comment
