Wellingham is one that may be worth a punt imo.
He ate more cheese, than time allowed

He looked promising at the pies, but has done nothing at WC. Risky. Poor man's jack watts.

This mornings draft prospect profile on the AFL website is another Sturt (Rose, Dawson, Marty Mattner coached them back to back flags) product who will be in calculations around our first pick. A high flying medium forward.

Cheap and free, has talent, pacy HBF, might finally get the finger out away from home on his last chance. This year's Shaun Edwards.

With the right nurturing at footy clubs from an early age, some private school scholarships and/or academy polish, I am very confident absolute stars of the future will develop and they will make a tremendous contribution to sport (and community) in this country.

Hopefully AA is the first of many in red and white.

Hope we don't touch the Sturt prospect unless he's got midfield/backline potential. The day of the permanent medium forward is over

When you can get players like Wellingham, Aaron Mullett and Billy Hartung for free, why would Collingwood offer a second round draft pick for Sam Murray? Maybe there's a 10% chance Murray will be as good as any of those guys.

I took the advice of some RWO posters and had a look at what the Collingwood fans on Big Footy had to say about the Murray trade. One thing that stood out was how many Collingwood fans described the trade using the term reamed without lube. They seemed extremely knowledgeable in this regard. It's good to see that people are getting an education in prison.

Wellingham, Mullett and Hartung have proven form that will not win you a premiership. Murray may not either but may have that potential. The others have not. I actually think that Collingwood did not do too badly in trading for Murray who already has two years of development and should be ready to play in 2018. The second round draft pick for 2018 we received will most likely not be ready to play until 2021 and they only traded round from second round to third round. If we get the wooden spoon and Collingwood are premiers the they have only dropped one position and they also got the steak knives of pick 70 where the points may help with getting Tyler Brown and slipping one less position in the draft.

He?ll be a mid/forward once he gets his tank up

I?m more thinking James Rose (who would probably be playing seniors in an earlier era)

Liz how would William compare to Sam Murray ?
Surely he doesn't qualify for our no dickhead policy? If he was a star you might ignore it but he would only be a fringe player.
