GWS have lost the plot. They aren't playing like a cohesive team and they seem rattled. Greene has been reported yet again. If they're not careful they could miss the top 4.

Saying this very quietly but GWS could miss the finals completely if they continue this run.

The loss of West Coast to the Pies is a good result for us, we need a few more of those to go our way and 12 wins could still allow a finals berth

The inequity of the draw has been talked about many times before, but for 4 teams not to have played at possibly the hardest ground to win at for 10 years is gob smacking.

But is it the hardest ground to win at? Their number of losses there might be higher if the Hawks had to play there more often in the last decade.

If we win 4/5 I think we get top 4
If we win 3/5 we should get home final wk 1
2/5 we are a chance to miss altogether.

So congested this year - great season of footy.

It definitely feels like top 4 is a possibility but then I look at the ladder and see that we're only one win off 11th and suddenly that feels like a (scary) possibility too.

I ran a few ladder scenarios and we pretty much need one of two things to happen to make top four:

We win every game right to the end, or
Tigers, Port, GWS and Cats to lose one game each minimum plus either GWS, Tigers or Port to have dropped a second game.

Something like that anyway.

It's possible, but hard to see at this point.
