"B B B B Buddy and the Jets" - I wrongly posted this in the Buddy congratulations thread but one of my three highlights over the weekend was the Buddy Show, the Swans' win and Jetta showing his old skills to propel his new team into the eight. Did anyone else think the same - or does everyone simply hate ex Swans at other teams?

On ex Swans - what the hell happened to Jed Lamb - I had to check halfway through the game to see if he was playing?

No all the finals matches are on Channel 7. Unfortunately we will have to listen to their commentary!

Hate is a strong emotion.

To be honest, there are few ex-Swans at other teams I even dislike passionately (there is the odd exception).

But mostly, when they leave, they are just another player to me - I don't wish malice upon them, but don't wish them well either ... especially against us! (Dempster, Schneider, Bird, White are a few recent exceptions - generally those who go but didn't necessarily want to go). Jetts lies in this category for me. Young man who genuinely seemed happy with us, but family circumstances made it difficult. I still enjoy seeing him in full flight ... just not aginst us.

But everyone will have different views.

For the second home game in a row, MMM has not done a call. They've been talking rugby league when they should have been talking Swans.
Does anyone know why?
If you don't have an AM radio for the ABC (who does these days), you don't get any radio commentary during the game.
Most annoying as I like to listen to the radio during the game.

I don't think you get a choice 707.
You pick the category you wish to purchase into and the computer doles out the "next best" tickets.
(Although, they are not the next best... they are sold at a later date.)

I went looking for the answer yesterday as I was quite annoyed at this late in the season change. So it seems you have to tune into the digital MMM band which of course my radio is not a digital one. When I went looking for a digital radio awhile back I was told that there is a time lag when watching live sport so for me next to useless. Maybe the NRL people leaned on MMM Sydney to have their games broadcast to try and boost flagging interest. Just flipping annoying!!!
