Well, you'd work back from Kennedy and McGlynn. We haven't traded in too much since then. Getting pick 44 for Jesse White was pretty good. As was a future second rounder for Sam Murray. Mitch Morton for pick 79.

I wouldn't mind Dylan Sheil. I reckon he's just what we need.

He is exactly what we need , we should be going hammer and tongs after him. Hasn’t quite lived up to his potential yet but could with us I feel.

Yes he would be great. We can join the bidding with many others.

I have no need to post on this thread. Liz has always said it first and far more succinctly than I would have. Please don't change liz!

Look if he is after the highest $$$ then we are not the right club, I don’t believe. I have heard he is content in Sydney , and GWS May need to shed some salary dollars but he is also contracted and a Melbourne boy. I just hope we have something up our sleeve because we need to do something after a couple of quiet years on the trade front. What happened to us identifying and maximising other sides fringe players? JPK, mcglynn, Shaw ,Mattner. Seems like we’ve moved away forms that style of recruiting but we used to be renowned for if. Would love us to land a big fish but I’m also hoping we can take some guys who we can turn into role layers , that is what we’ve done on the lazy

You just did post on it though ....? Would be cool to have an opinion. And the praise for Liz is 100% warranted as we all know she’s a gun but surely even she must get tired of hearing it !

Sorry , bit carried away last night , cheering the giants on against 70k feral pies supporters, was a few drinks required to settle me after that. Not a great post from me ..

Acres I suspect we want in the deal

We desperately need another inside developing midfielder

I'd love to have him at the Swans, and agree he'd be wonderful to add to our midfield.

The only concern I would have is that with the rumoured dollars getting thrown around by rival clubs I feel to be under consideration we'd end up trying to get ourselves out of a salary cap headache whilst throwing ourselves straight into a new one.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Just let him know what we can pay and hope he wants to play at a quality club. There will be others.....

The main knock on Shiel is his kicking going at below 70% disposal efficiency. However, I think he’s a cracking player who would only add to our side. The question would be in regards to $.

Personally, I’d prefer to target Acres as a cheaper, yet to reach potential player. Hanners for Acres and a future 3rd would be brilliant.

Callum Twoomey on Future Stars saying that the Hannebery is effectively a done deal. Will involve a future second round pick. It's looking less likely that we'll get an exchange of first rounders ????

Saints future second should be low 20s, if you have to sell (cap pressure) then you take what you can get I suppose. I never thought pick 4/5 was ever really in the equation.
