it seems the odds are stacked against us. There are 15 listed lions players compared to 11 Swans. I hope the academy boys are sharp. Last week's crop were less than impressive although they did seem to be on the younger side and this might have been a factor. I hope the boys can produce something impressive. Nice to see Wicks and some of the boys who have been so good this year back again.

It's 11 v 16 listed players on paper, but we will be down to 10 and possibly less whereas Brisbane have not named one of the AFL emergencies (Mayes)

Last time we played them they had about the same amount of listed players and we only had 10 listed players. We beat them. but in saying that there were a couple of really good academy players playing that day other than Wicks.

This looks hard. Only five senior players and six rookies by my count. Would expect at least one of the senior emergencies to drop out as cover for a late injury as well. Our injury list is starting to bite in the NEAFL.

Toby Pink at Halfback - that should be entertaining. I just can't see us keeping him on after this season. Going to be a hard old slog for us tomorrow in ressies I feel - injuries really starting to bite now.

I thought Pink showed some promise last year but this year has been cruelled by injury. Has only played twice this year by my reckoning and without any impact but possibly hampered by injury and lack of preseason etc. I would leave that call to the club. Remember they showed a lot of faith in Melican when he could not get on the park for a couple of years.

COR was reported as having a hip issue when the team came out yesterday.

I think in the last Allies game, in the last few minutes, he had a heavy fall and possibly concussed.
