Looks like the idea that Kennedy was soon to be eligible for a pension was a bit premature: 23 possessions in the first half. We seemed to be getting on top in the midfield. Parker, Florent and Rowbottom were also doing well. Lewis Taylor seems to be getting his pace and flair back. Really liked some of the quick options being taken by Aliir. Papley looks on course for a very big season.

Yes, he has been good. Should also keep improving, if he can have an injury free run.Comment

Opportunity missed. Bring on Adelaide. Hopefully they can help play us into form.

64-56 tackles to the Swans - 10 for JPK and 9 for Rowbottom. Nice work! Sounds like JPK may have been best afield.

Papley kicked 4.1. Very handy.

If we're serious about playing finals this season, we have to be considered a chance in all our first four matches. All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)

Relieved to see Stephens showing his wares. Lots of talent.
Also nice to see Taylor getting into it along with Gray and Brand. Definitely upgraded the list in the off season.
I would like to know what happened to Hewitt and also what happened to Blakey on the day.
Papley and Kennedy excellent, Harry pretty good. Hopefully the overall improvement can continue.

TBH, I can't see us playing finals. I think 10 wins is about the best we can hope for.All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)

Willy Hayward has been reported for a high bump on some shinboner.
Hope they don't suspend him.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment
