Fox Footy (David King & Mike Ablett) had us, Essendon & Collingwood in that order as having nailed the draft, based on players who can make an immediate impact next year. Getting Logan McDonald unexpectedly was the clincher.

So who gets which numbers? 6, 16, 21, 31, 33, 36, 37, 39, 40, 47 and above are available.

Perhaps Campbell = 31, Gulden = 21, McDonald = 6? I would love to see a number 31 running around again, causing mayhem for the opposition.

There's no clear strategy in their approach. Shifting back in the trade with Adelaide for a future Rd 3 was odd, unless they have a f/s next year.

For those concerned about McDonald's willingness to come to the Swans, I recall another player who was so desperate to head home he would have done it, if his Mum hadn't put the foot down and told him "you can't come back - I've sold your bed!".

That one worked out ok in the end...

Errol Gulden was listed on the AFL Draft night board as being 176 cm. It looks like he has grown rapidly over the last 1 year !

One thing that was shown in some footage on Fox last night Re: Campbell was his ability to fly high for a big grab. I hadn’t heard that mentioned before or seen it any footage. He can launch. Will slot straight into a forward pocket/ flank next year you’d imagine

I don't read too much into him barracking for the Pies (except poor judgement). How many players actually play for the team they barracked for would be pretty small you'd think.

Logan's a Blood now. His support group (friends and family) would naturally want Logan and his team to do well. It would be a natural progression for those around him to start cheering for the Red and White too.

By my calcs our main list totals 36 (i think min is 37) do we need another one either upgrade or pre season. Rookie list currently stands at 5,total list 41 allowed 44. any agreement on these numbers
