This is a watershed game for the Swans. Super exciting year ahead I think
This team is going places. Maybe not in 2021, maybe not even 2022, but this is an excitement machine, and boys playing with pure joy.

These Angry Young Cygnets are going to be something to saviour in coming years. 1st week I thought it was maybe just a Rd 1 fluke, last week I thought it was just another team towards the bottom, but today was a massive statement against the benchmark of the competition. No hiding now cygnets, the secret is out!

Can't recall Florent playing a better game?

Alot has been made of our 3 draftees and rightly so. But the massive improvements in the games of Wicks and Warner, as well as the addition of a surprisingly outstanding Hickey, has been the equivalent of adding 3 A graders to our team. McCartain becoming an elite defender, Mills an A grade mid and the return of Heeney and Rampe has also helped in the transformation of the team.

I agree with Webbos - anything is possible.

Also should be noted that Rampe seemed to dust the cobwebs off today. Return to form.

McLean covered 30km - most of any of our players. He's a running machine and I can only assume, doing a truck load of work off the ball.

I don't even know what to post, so I'll just go with this.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

That was some statement from the boys in red and white. And many of them are almost still boys - but they are playing like ferocious experienced warriors, not phased at all by anyone.

Get on the bandwagon boys and girls and buckle up. We've got some fun to come!

                      Just unreal.

I thought we were ultimately on the right track but had been sceptical of how far we’d really go this year. It’s a long season but after that . . . wowee!

Easily Florent’s best game for the club and to do it against such a great team makes it even better. Paps and Wicks up forward. Reid did a bucket of little, desperate things. Hewett was terrific when he had Martin. Chad Warner is a goddamn beast. Mills awesome. And the boys down back superb.

It’s gonna be a fun year.

Great effort still, but he covered 14 km
