Completely agree with your point - although I'll note Scott is usually uber salty at the best of times, so was impressed tonight by his restraint.

Yeah. I'd like to say I hear ya, but I went deaf at the Adelaide game.
My partner and I are wearing double-layered ear protection. Crazy.

Had to go to dinner tonight (not happy)but got home to watch the last 10 minutes. My neighbours were looking out the windows thinking someone was being - well you know attacked or whatever.

That was one of the most exciting 10 minutes of footy they have played since the 2012 GF.

I will settle down and watch the full replay.

          Go you mighty bloods !!!!!

except when he has to take a match winning mark going back with the flight of the ball.

Great comeback win. Thoughts on a couple of players:

Hayden McLean - plays football like your honest sales rep who only just hits his weekly number. Always plays to his ability and you can accurately predict his output. Today he rang the bell over and over on the sales floor and won the bonus trip to Bali. Great performance.

Haywood - his contested marking is very important. Too talanted a player to ever have out of the team.

Mills - played well off halfback but please get him back to midfield when Rampe returns.

McCartin - defence looks so much better with him in it.

Melican - played really well until hamstring injury. The calls will come loud for Gould.

Dawson - really strong in the contest.

Stephens - good to see him get a game. Got involved and has great skills. “The Bloods” would be pleased with his output.

Hickey - what a performance. Great to see a guy at 30 finally show how good he can be given the right opportunity.

Gulden - some nice moments but is getting tired.

Heeney - that injury is impacting his ability to provide a contest.

Well done Swans. Big difference between 5 and 2 and 4 and 3.

Don't think Melican's injury spells Gould. It spells Rampe coming back and after today's performance hopefully Fox too

Someone earlier said Hickey is our most important player, he was right. O'Riordan played a really nice game too I thought.

                        Epic night, epic win!

The atmosphere was amazing (except the BS music).

Clutch goals from Rowbottom and Papley on his left foot.

Only said it as I saw it Stevo. Was a genuine howler of a play. And we were full of running. But he did redeem himself with a great goal and gutsy hard running and work in the last quarter. His kick into traffic was rivalled by Dawson's brilliant short kick in to a Geelong player.

Regarding the last “mark” by Cameron, just watched the last 2 minutes, and the umpire is clearly yelling “touched, touched, play on” throughout its flight. The “not 15m” malarkey was made up by the commentators. At the ground you could hear nothing except screaming on all sides!

                              Beautiful. Hopefully the penny drops!
