No appeal will be lodged: "The Giants later confirmed they would not appeal the decision". Even they knew the writing was on the wall on this one.

Maybe they should also sanction him as a way to make it clear to him that "you have to stop this BS behaviour for the good of your team mates and this club....and yourself". How many @@@@ up's does it take to change a fool?

I'd love to see a link from a reliable website that explains margins of errors in a way that encapsulates your nonsensical ramblings. It is not possible that something can simultaneously 'go over absolute limits' while at the same time 'the limit blocks them'. You can't have it both ways...... although you do try pretty well with your quick turn to GWS superfan whenever the Swans are knocked out or you've got free tickets to the showground.....
Your trying to take this simple analysis down some weird road. A road you are not familiar with, and even resorting to spelling flames and personal attacks (the old RWO way).
      Kinda sad.

If I were to summarise you position as presented on this thread as: You dont like ANZ Stadium, and you dont like Toby Greene, therefore Matt Stevic is not a bias umpire.

GWS deserve credit for taking such a position. It is disappointing that what will be a stellar career in terms of on field 'results' at an individual level will be so tarnished by so many idiotic moments along the way..... one would have hoped at some point it would 'click' and absolute avoidable nonsense like this would drop out of his game.

You wouldn't know analysis if it sat in the corner next to you at ANZ stadium, crying of broken dreams of watching AFL at the 'grand old lady'.

If you want to run around and accuse people of not knowing anything about mathematics, then it is only fair that you can be challenged too. The difference between 'advise' and 'advice' has nothing to do with spelling....

And do tell, which part of the last sentence is incorrect Barry? I was only stating the truth.

Absolutely they should. This is close to a Barry Hall punching that eagles player moment where the club starts the process of parting ways.
However, I also have a small feeling that GWS dont really see themselves as a contender this season, and so just beating the swans was their grand final. To make finals and win one, and to finish ahead of the swans ticked all their goals.

Barry - in that instance it is biased, not bias

Stevic is either demonstrating bias within his decision making, or he is a biased umpire. He is not a bias umpire - unless that is what he does during the week off the footy field...

Each post makes you look more and more lamer. It all makes sense though. Left brain vs right brain. Good at english, poor at maths, and vice versa.

I think I summarised your good self earlier:

                    Changed subject?... yeah, nah.

I know in society at the moment, ignorance is celebrated. Everyones opinion is equal, blah, blah. But science and mathematics dont care for that rubish.
Yep, life is a numbers game Bazza.

Toby is a perfect example of the saying "Leopards don't change their spots".

I’m quite certain that it’s more and more lame

However, before people jump on spelling, I’d suggest at that auto correct and typos tend to play a significant role in the spelling errors (if my text messages are anything to go by).

As for Toby. The one team I never want to see win a premiership is GW$. But if every team has to win one sometime in their existence, this is the year I now want to see GW$ do it, with Toby watching on from the stands.

But if University never won one, and Freo hasn’t, I’m happy for GW$ to keep them company in the record books. Or better still, GW$ make the Grand Final, lose by a point and Toby will forever know that him missing would likely have been the difference.

Dear oh dear, do you really feel it is wise to want to move on to a discussion about causality and correlation already? I suggest you need some more practice on the fundamentals before we any move to more complex topics.

And I'll just let through to the keeper your latest language based faux pas.

No.....but if they did it would be on a one year contract with strict caveats around on field behaviour....one brain fade and you're out. A perfectly behaved season leads to a trigger of a second season one year contract....with the same caveats and so on.

I dislike Toby Greene as much as the next bloke - as long as the next bloke really hates Toby Greene but I thought his game on Saturday was amazing, one of the best individual performances of the year.

The tribunal ruling is perhaps the best this year too. He swore at the umpire (about another player) and then deliberately bumped him. I'd like to think that the same penalty would have been handed down whether it was the sainted Selwood or Barry Hall.

I reckon it would have been 6 weeks in the H&A season.

It probably puts back the timeframe before a player decks an umpire back a few years and that's a good thing, too.
