I know its just media gossip, but how do we get a Salary Sombrero like they have down in Geelong: AFL trade news, rumours, whispers: Geelong Cats, Brodie Grundy, Jacob Hopper, Izak Rankine, Adelaide Crows offer, contract, Gold Coast Suns,

Love the quote from Whately in the article almost counting his chickens as the drool comes out of his mouth about Geelong winning the Premiership haha.... I quite like him overall, but hope we get to see his sad face again if the cats get rolled in the finals, which I think they will.

When Whately says "Imagine if they did that as the defending premier" I think he means that Mike Fitzpatrick would come back from the dead, have a massive tantrum, and impose all sorts of trade bans on them. Or maybe not.

        Geelong, they CAN have everyone!

Persistent chatter that Geelong gets lucrative guaranteed not to fail property investments for their recruits as a way of enticing them for less money in the TPP.

Fantastic news! It's great to have them both recommit. We just need to open up spots when the younger brothers are ready to be drafted.

Hahaha! This is excellent news, well done Swans for making the decision a seemingly easy one. The future is getting even brighter, I'm proud to support such a great and professional club

I’m excited by this but TB must be really struggling to keep it under wraps [emoji14]

In all seriousness the clubs decision to recruit Corey as well looks a great move , his 2nd half along all be it in the reserves looks to have mirrored Chads

Outstanding news for the Swans. I think Corey Warner can consider himself a bit lucky because he was very ordinary in the first part of the VFL season. Though over the past month there has been a marked improvement. Hopefully just a slow learner and will develop a bit later on to be an AFL player.

Maybe a bit harsh on an 18 year old kid who just moved across the country to step up into a very tough VFL competition! Was never going to be a star from day 1! He is looking likely and deserves his spot on the list on his own merits.

Corey has had a steady improvement over the year and really finished the season well. I wasn't so sure at first, but now I'm feeling very positive about Corey becoming a good player. Who knows, maybe he will be as good as Chad, OR BETTER. If you think Chad is quick, you haven't seen Corey yet. Corey is super quick. (And a much better kick on the left than Chad )

It looks to be a great draft and recruitment year for the Swans. Paddy, Gus, Roberts, Corey and HHK is an incredible haul for one year. Even Rankin hasn't been doing too badly, although he needs work on his disposal, which was supposed to be his strong point.
