Ive said it all yr , he is a mid and they will move him into mids . I would have done it at senior level and you know whos place i would have him take , but looks like coaches want him to learn it in the 2s. Not what i would do but im ok with it if it fast tracks getting him into mids where he belongs

He was popping up everywhere. Doubt if it will last, but it’s promising. Campbell giving every indication that he's too good for this level. Just wish the commentator could tell the difference between him and Stephens.Comment

Amartey is really putting on a show this quarter. Which is good to see after he was a bit unlucky to be dropped.

Another Amartey goal. Stephens even managed to spot him up. Which might have been the first effective disposal for Stephens?Comment

Amartey was smashing them with 5 goals but it looks like he has injured himself. HHK with 2 goals and nice kicking skills. Robbie Fox is dominating down back and Hickey is dominating the ruck. Swans by 54 points at half time.Comment

- Amartey has been fantastic so far. Has to play senior footy.
- HHK looks very sharp and might be an excellent MSD pickup.
- Commentators constantly calling 'Stephens' instead of Campbell.
- Stephens at least has hit a few targets this game, but also missed a fair few and needs to improve game awareness. But his speed is impressive. If only Stephens could kick as well as Ryan Clarke, he would be in the AFL side.
- Campbell having a mediocre game so far. Looking for a better 2nd half.
- Clarke has been excellent, including 2 nice goals.
- Gould has looked good and kicked a nice goal.
- Roberts will be a good player once he improves his speed. His kicking and footy smarts should take him a long way.

The first half went the way it should, with so many listed players in today's side; quite a few of whom will think they're a chance of promotion next week. Let's hope they keep it up in the second. Although, after starting to dominate in the ruck, I wouldn't mind Hickey sitting out most of the second and leaving the rucking to Sinclair and McAndrew; as I suspect Ladhams will be getting a tribunal holiday.
Amartey was also dominating, with some excellent marking and set shots. Hopefully it's just a not very serious ankle sprain. Hall-Kahan was a nice surprise. Clarke is having his usual wholehearted game. Gould has been very good. Campbell looked very classy whenever he went near it. Roberts and Bell were getting busy. Stephens managed to hit a couple of targets late in the half; so hopefully that becomes a trend.
All up, a very good half, where pretty well everyone did some good things.Comment
