Taylor and Clarke had good second halfs, with Taylor possibly BOG. Bell was good in the first, but not sure if he played much in the second. Sheather was good in defence, but limped off with an ankle injury early in the last. Melican and Gould also played well in defence. Gould's disposals are usually incisive. Shame that McAndrew got injured in the second quarter, as I thought he was on top of Ryan in the ruck. Stephens should plenty of dash, but missed a few too many targets. Warner and Rankin both had some useful moments.

All up, an enthusiastic effort, where we had the better of the game, but wasted too many attacks. But still, it was good to be in front at the siren.

Bell was no longer there somewhere through the 3rd quarter. Not sure if injured or withdrawn as a precaution for the seniors (which would mean a late change with one of Fox/COR in).

Taylor has been consistently one of our best in the Reserves this season. Last game, the opposition tagged him as he was so damaging. I guess there is nothing more that he can do but keep on banging down the seniors door. Good to see Stephens amongst it but sorry to hear about his disposal inefficiency.

I thought Stephens was excellent today. Needs to work on his kicking but that will come in time and he is still young. Though he did not get many possessions I liked some of the things young Warner did. Amartey is unlucky not to be playing seniors.
