Nice that McLean has started to kick straight again, hopefully a few others will join him. The side has been pretty wasteful. Although the defensive effort has been pretty good. In defence, Sheather has done well. Playing as a small defender, he's won most of his contests. Gould's disposal has generally been effective. Stephens has shown plenty of dash, but has missed too many targets. Clarke had a few telling involvements in that quarter.

From the live stream the light at the ground looked really poor, then with a few minutes to go, it brightened up considerably. Was it just the camera?

I liked the look of Endemann, played with confidence and did a couple of spectacular things. Would be worth a rookie pick you'd think, and a Sydney boy.

I would guess the selection committee have already made up their minds with these two, but both never stop putting in the effort at this level - model professionals.
In my opinion Taylor was probably BOG in this match.

The light was fine right to the end out at Lakeside. Though at 3/4 time I got fed up with squinting into the sun so moved over to the Anzac Parade side, only to have to battle with shadow across two thirds of the ground.

Entertaining game and Swans were great apart from forward half kicking. Though the inaccuracy kept the tension up. Definitely got my moneys worth this afternoon.
