That may be the best quarter I've seen our VFL team play this year, against an opponent that aren't mugs. Just amazing attack on the ball from everyone, and great synergy.

Campbell, Sheldrick, Roberts, Gould all great. Ronke and Amartey great up forward. But everyone contributed.

I did enjoy that Ladhams goal. A very good impersonation of a small crumbing forward.

Is it my imagination or do we have a huge amount of left footers in this team and the play seems to be quarter by quarter on whichever wing our left footers are skirting around with their left foot kicks

Hopefully we can keep Gould. Think he'll be a handy AFL player next year

I do hope so...that was a nice goal

Gee Harry Morrison really does do some good looking stuff at times. Lovely goal just then.

Agree on Harry Morrison. Looks as good as many of our AFL listed players.

This may have been BOC's best game this year. Maybe he can have a strong finish to the year.

I thought Bell also had quite a good game.

Sign him to a long term contract now!

I seen plenty of individual moments from Barry, but he rarely strings them together into passages of play. Today he suddenly seemed to understand where / how to run on to become involved multiple times in a chain of possessions.

I don't think there's a player on our list that I've been rooting for more to "make it" - even if that is just playing one AFL game. I've pretty much given up hope by now, but maybe that game keeps a little flicker alive, if he wants to give it one more year (and the Swans are willing to give him that chance).

I think it just helps to play one's game and bring your level up if the talent exists in you when you have such a strong side around you..like Liz said the synergy and commitment were the best she'd seen. We had some really experienced senior players all over the field(it must be very helpful for a young defender to have Cunningham and a now very composed and ready Gould back there) and then also a smattering of really promising midfield and running players as well as some value adding non listed players. We had reliability and teamwork everywhere.

I think he played up to the level of players around him and the Swans reserves haven't had such a strong looking balanced side for a while.

That augurs well for his ability to show much more.

It's hard to show much in a disjointed side.

As a defender I doubt whether BOC has had such quality reliable and numerous options of players to distribute to in a reserves before..McLean for example is a luxury as an outlet kicking target in the 2nds and Campbell and Cunningham as running handball targets are also luxury for reserves.

The commentators said at the very start, that he was "being managed": whatever that means.

Can someone who is watching closely please comment - is Campbell’s form in VFL what is expected, above or below par? With Gulden doing so well out of the blocks is that an unfair comparison for a young player and/ or is Campbell on track or should we be happy or worried?
