I think we need to recruit another AFL standard ruckman.
We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!

Unfortunately I think he's done. Like another promising young defender (AJ) his body just doesn't hold up and struggles to play more than one or 2 in a row...

Lloyd Meek would be perfect. There's talk GWS are into him.

Hope we keep Ronke, hes good enough to play AFL. Much better option than Wicks

To echo others: Ronke, Amartey and Sheldrick AFL standard if needed for the finals

            Disappointing performance.

I thought adding to your list Longmile that Campbell tried hard and did some good stuff. But precious few winners across the park.

Would certainly prefer Ronke to be a medi-sub to Wicks. Did really well in a well beaten side off very few chances today.

Sheldrick and Amartey worked hard all day and looked AFL ready if we need to make a change. Ronke doesn't offer the best option if we are looking for a pressure forward. His tackling is not best, to say the least, but he's a great crumbing forward.

Casey are a classy solid unit across the group, while we look more a bunch of players in a pick-up game (a bit of and exaggeration) by comparison.

It's hard to carry 3 AFL level ruckmen. I do agree that McAndrew is not worth persevering with and we should look to replace him with another development ruckman.

Yep. Ronke tried hard, Amartey took a few
Marks and Campbell is all class but doesn’t get it enough. Can’t see what people see in Gould, the ball lived in our backline and besides Melican I think BOC was our best down there.

If we delist Sinclair and McAndrew, surely the answer cannot be Naismith! So, assuming Naismith is goine, I think if we cut 3 rucks we will need to bring another in.

I thought he was one of our better players today, but at the same time a little disappointing. But that was as much a factor of a midfield group smashed all day long as anything.

Tend to disagree on McAndrew. With Ladhams likely to be suspended, I'm actually looking forward to him spending more time in the ruck next week.

Although we should definitely not rely on it, how awesome would it be if Naismith could actually come back (and stay back...). In the 2 games he played in 2020 he was absolutely dominant as a tap ruckman and our midfield certainly looked to benefit from it. If he didn't always get hurt I thought he could almost develop into our version of big Max Gawn!

He could add another dimension to our promising young side... (I'm dreaming I know) Lol.

I heard them say Sinclair announced his retirement yesterday.
